  • Have you looked into Chris Powell's Choose to Lose: 7 day Carb Cycle?? I really enjoy him. He makes learning to choose healthy eating seem attainable. His plan also allows for the "wall" and "maintenance" issues you are talking about. I am one of those that doesn't agree with cutting something out in order to lose, just…
  • I LOVED Insanity!!! I really could tell a difference when I was doing it. I am no longer able to do it because of my ankle injuries, but when I get the green light I am going to start back.
  • I didn't say it was "normal" it is just something that apparently I trained my body to adapt to at a young age. I remember going all day without eating and then being starving when I got home from school...just didn't think about eating until I slowed down. Needless to say I was a toothpick back then, but as I got older it…
  • It's very easy to eat less than that. I myself struggle with it because I stay so busy during the day I forget to eat and before I know it my only meal is supper. That being said, I DON'T DO IT ON PURPOSE! I find myself feeling a lot better and even losing inches and weight just by eating more...4 to 6 times a day.
  • SW: 198 CW: 196 (6/19) GW: 140 Week 1 & 2 191.8 Week 3 (traveling...unable to check in) Week 4 192 Week 5 192 I am leaving my weight the same, since I have been unable to check in this week. Maybe I will have a nice jump downward next week and be able to track it :D Happy weight loss everyone :D
  • SW: 198 CW: 196 (6/19) GW: 140 Week 1 & 2 191.8 Week 3 (traveling...unable to check in) Week 4 192 I am still losing inches, so I am not too concerned about my weight right this second. I am excited about my progress...knowing that I am still showing a loss in inches even though I know I am bloated and retaining water this…
  • The scale can actually be your worst enemy while trying to lose weight. You need to remember that different factors affect your weight. First of all, make sure you are weighing on the same scale...same spot....same time of day each time you weigh. Second, if you are sticking to your plan and not cheating, your weight will…
  • I agree with the others. You need to make sure you are eating the right amount. I don't believe in cutting something out completely, unless you truly need to for health reasons. I am currently taking pointers from Chris Powell's 7 day carb cycle solution. You cut out carbs Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My hubby and I have…
  • SW: 198 CW: 196 (6/19) GW: 140 Weigh in today 191.8 :)
  • I did that also. I joined last summer, but when winter rolled in and I wasn't able to workout outside I pretty much gave up. I am hoping that I can get enough off this summer that I feel comfortable taking some Zumba and Kettle bell classes this winter. Happy Weight Loss!!
  • I am taking 45min to 1hr walks with my dog in the evenings this week. Next week I will step it up to some interval training! So for today I am easing my way into this to make sure I don't try to do too much too soon! Happy weight loss everyone!!
  • Thanks! That is what I was figuring, but I wanted to make sure. SW: 198 CW: 196 GW: 140
  • 30 lbs is just about my halfway point of my total weight loss goal. I am new to this, so bare with me. SW?? CW?? I assume GW is goal weight...what do the other two stand for?
