QFT... Since I started reading nutrition labels (shortly before I started on MFP) it's been awful. lol. Some of my favorite foods have since had to be culled from the diet. Oh well, sometimes to get what we want in life we must make sacrifices.

I only have Wii Fit and Wii Sports as far as games geared toward fitness goes, but I have a few other games that I get up off the couch to play, or rather, will play now that the Wii is actually hooked back up. :D Going to GameStop tomorrow, any recommendations on what I should look for?

QFT... I have never been a morning person and eating right after I wake up will generally make me sick. I generally have to wait at least an hour or two before I even can eat anything, but even then I'm not generally hungry for a couple more hours.

The after-opening expiration really depends on your fridge. The fridge I have keeps everything nice and cold, the old one though not so much. While I personally don't trust anything after it's expiration date, I drink down my almond milk too quickly to notice. :D The stamped expiration date is if you keep it in the fridge…

I too recently started on my fitness journey with MFP to help me along the way and, while it's still early in my chosen exercise regime, I have a very good feeling about accomplishing my goals with the help of the people I've met here on MFP!

The 1200 cal/day threshold is to keep yourself out of "starvation mode" - which is where your body will put pretty much everything you eat into storage (fat). If MFP is recommending you eat 1600 cal/day to get to your desired goal, I believe that's 1600 cal/day without any exercise but I could be wrong.

Eat your exercise calories and don't stray under 1200 cal/day.
