I'm 5'4" and my goal is 130.

Wow! You rock, girlfriend!
-
So inspiring!!! Congratulations on your success.
-
Me too! Damn things get in the way of everything.

Feel free to add me! I'm also 38 years old (for 18 more days). I am a stay at home mom and have about 55 more pounds to lose. My diary is open as well.

I have the Flex and think the Fitbit is definitely worth it. That being said, I don't rely on it for accurate calorie burning information. I use it more as a motivator. If my steps are low, I get up and get moving. If my friends are "winning" on the leaderboards, I get up and get moving. I park at the back of the parking…

Sounds like you have a good guy. It's hard news to take, even if you already know it...and agree with it. He went about it in a nice and caring way and communicated how he felt. That's a sign of a healthy relationship!

I have the Flex and I love it. More than anything I use it as a motivator to get up off my butt and move. If I see my friends getting more steps than me, it forces me to walk the stairs a few times. I've had mine about 5 months now and I feel lost without it.

I have back problems so I have to pace myself so I don't get bogged down with pain. Some of my favorites are Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs. They are effective but don't make you feel like you've been hit by a truck the next day.

I am turning 39 next month and am re-starting with MFP. I've lost quite a bit of weight using the app/site so far and look forward to reaching my goal in 2014 once and for all. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I am shooting for between 130 and 140 but we will see what happens as I get closer. I haven't been that "thin" since I was in my early 20's. Now I am pushing 40 and have had 2 kids so I don't know what normal and healthy will look like as I get in shape.

I am re-starting as well. I have really got off track over the past few months and I'm just done feeling like this. Feel free to add me as a friend.

lilbearzmom is correct. The Flex does not measure stairs. The One and the new Force do though.

I am katrina2475 on Instagram. I post mostly pics of my kids or my dog but I want to use it to take progress pictures as well.
-
I love this. I have put off getting family portraits done until I lose weight and it is just stupid.
-
Sent you a friend request. I am doing Turbo Jam and love it. I still have a bit to go but with this and Hip Hop Abs, my clothes are getting super baggy.

I used to eat fast food a couple times a week. Now that I've changed my diet and began exercising, I seriously feel sick and weighted down after eating fast food. It doesn't even taste the same to me anymore.

I'm not a success story...yet! I had my youngest via c-section in April of 2009 and am fighting to get my abs back. I also just had surgery in December to repair my abdominal muscles because they separated with my pregnancies. This also caused 3 ventral hernias and an umbilical hernia that I had repaired as well. Now that…

I love Yucca! My husband is Cuban and Yucca is served at almost every family dinner. We mostly eat it boiled and seasoned with garlic.
-
Definitely nutrition. You have to give your body fuel so you can work out.

Sending you a friend request. I'm a 38 year old SAHM to a 3 year old and 5 year old and I like to eat real food. No 1000 calorie Lean Cuisine food diary here.
-
Great job!
-
Sent you a request. I am active here everyday and my food diary is public.

I was/am addicted to potato chips as well. It was the hardest habit to break. I would put my kids to bed, grab my chips and the remote and have my "me time". Now I try to not snack at all at night but if I do, I replace the chips with air popped popcorn, almonds or cucumber slices.

I've been a member here for 3 years but just recently started getting serious about this. I'm 37 and a stay at home mom to 2 girls. I work out at home using DVDs, Gazelle and a Total Gym. I have about 50 more pounds to lose and share my food diary.

I just got the Fitbit Aria scale and love it. It is expensive ($129) but syncs over wifi to my Fitbit account which in turn syncs with MFP and also reads body fat.
-
I have the zip and love it. It really keeps me motivated to do better than the day before. The social aspect is neat too.
-
Pineapple and watermelon. Those 2 are more tempting to me than chocolate cake. I suppose it could be worse.
-
Newman's Own Light Basalmic Vinaigrette. Love it!

I have it but haven't done it yet. I have 16 more days until I am cleared for exercise after having surgery. I can't wait to try it though.
