  • ooo, this would probably be great using some of the milk & egg protein powder that I have because it would give it that eggy flavor you sometimes get with lemon bars.
  • If I didn't wash my fine hair every day, the weight of the natural oils alone would paste it to my head. I would suggest making sure you use a milder shampoo. The clearer the shampoo, the more it will strip away oils so go for the pearly looking shampoo. Also use a conditioner designed for your type of hair.... a…
  • I have an L shaped scar on my chin from blunt force trauma. My brother and I were in middle school and he was hitting lightning bugs with a baseball bat (we thought it was cool that it made them glow really brightly right after they died... did I mention we were in middle school?) Anyways, I was standing just about in the…
  • If you were at a high enough weight, those moobs may be made of real breast tissue which can only be removed by a doctor.
  • string cheese sticks no sugar added applesauce cups low fat pudding cups
  • I have a digital weight tracker scale that uses "4 load cell" technology. Basically it has a pressure sensor each corner so it's more accurate even on uneven floors. It's pretty similar to how the wii balance board works. It's the best scale I've ever owned! I would look for something similar to that.
  • Sometimes I'll look on recipes sites like allrecipes where at least some of the recipes have nutrition facts with them and I'll do like an ingredients search and find something similar.
  • I've never had them so I'm not sure about weighing in, but my dad gets them in his back for degenerative disc. They last him for upwards of a year before it starts to bother him enough to go in for another. I dunno if they have different strengths or how often your doc might have suggested you go though...
  • Generally the bright yellow urine is caused by B vitamins. I take a super high dose b-12 from time to time so I've experienced this Some of your vitamins are just naturally not going to have time to be absorbed. Some vitamins tend to be more water soluble or fat soluble, so it could change depending on what you eat with it.
  • Wrap style shirts are a really good choice because they tighten up under the bust. I agree that button up shirts can be bad... I have to fix mine with fashion tape for job interviews. I usually fit a women's xl shirt pretty well, but I have trouble with dresses being too baggy because I have to get one big enough to fit my…
  • It's probably the fact that it is a sugary cereal that's doing it... try eating a breakfast with a protein in it instead like peanut butter on toast.
  • I know of one exercise designed to help firm up your chest. you hold your arms straight out in front of you at shoulder width, act like you are clapping your hands together without actually letting them touch. I've seen people do this with barbells in their hands too.
  • Mine have not been shrinking, but the band size is getting smaller.... so I'm going to end up wearing like a 36F. I would kind of rather they did shrink though!
  • I do something similar to this: I walk every aisle but the baby stuff, even if I don't particularly need anything in that aisle. This can be kinda bad if my husband is along though, he tends to throw in extra stuff. :P
  • There is a shop in my city that buys used high end and designer clothes for cash and resells them... if your clothes fit that bill. If you have a lot of things made from t-shirt fabric, look into "t-shirt surgery" because of the way the fabric is made, you can leave an unfinished edge which is great for non-sewers.
  • I have the same problem with chocolate... I think you can literally be addicted to it. I second the skinny cow stuff. also, go dark, you will need less to fill that craving.
  • There are a lot of good food lists on the web for IBS. Seriously, just google IBS food list. I know with my case (IBS-D), the two major triggers were high fat and high insoluble fiber... (salad with full fat ranch dressing was super bad!) Sometimes just eating too big of a meal or eating something spicy would do it. I…
  • What type of protein is your shake using? Lots of people have mild intolerance to soy proteins that lead to flatulence.
  • I loved baked apples! You know the kind where you just core them and put some stuff in the middle and then bake them. Here's an alternative version that replaces the brown sugar with a little juice: http://www.floras-hideout.com/recipes/recipes.php?page=recipes&data=b/Baked_Apple_Low-fat plus you can 'bake' a single…
  • Texas roadhouse serves some sort of brown bread with honey butter.
  • My last one was ordered from freshpair.com... it was the goddess soft cup style.
  • I am trying to do that as well. Right now I am trying krill oil. The recommended amount of krill oil for lowing triglycerides is 1,000-2,000 mg which can be kind of pricey and a lot of pills. The important thing to know is that your triglycerides can be highly affected for up to 48 hrs by eating high fat and high sugar…
  • You could switch to Bizarre Foods, just sickening enough to make you change your mind. Man vs. Wild is always showing him eating gross stuff too.
  • When I knit, I definitely avoid snacks that would leave a residue on my hands for at least an hour before I plan on picking it up for the day :)
  • It definitely looks like there is a lot less around your waistline to me! The second picture is at a bad angle. You'd look even better if you stood up straight and smiled :)
  • Last night I made spaghetti squash tossed with marinara. The squash isn't exactly like spaghetti but it doesn't really have a flavor of its own so it is pretty darn close with the marinara on it. They just started showing up in the grocery store here and there's lots of picture tutorials online of how to cook them too.
  • Could be IBS or gallbladder... I've been dealing with both for a long time. There are quite a few different meds your doc can give you. Mine even suggested trying otc probiotics like Align and the line made by Ganaden.
  • I like to look for labels that say "A naturally fat free food" or "No added sugar" to avoid that very problem.
  • I have Active and Active 2. I like it a lot because I don't have a treadmill or gym membership. Active 2 has a heart rate monitor built in so it more accurately calculates your calories burned. I'm working through the 'cardio kickstart' program right now and I usually burn about 120 calories in 22 minutes. It definitely is…
  • If the thing is scar tissue, it is probably fibrous enough to stand out, but I wouldn't let that bother you! You can either wear your scar proudly or see a medical professional about ways to decrease or remove it.
