I love Target swimsuits. They are cheap enough that I can buy a bunch of different tops and bottoms and mix and match. I also get a lot of mine from VS, but I feel like some are pretty cheaply made for the price. Still cute though. I just bought this one piece from Target and can't wait to wear it. So cute!

I read this article yesterday and completely agree. Great advice!

But will doing this workout make me bulky? Maybe I should just use 1lb ankle weights... I used to do the "Phoebe run" when I would jog with my friends in college, so I am not above Prancercising through a park. I think I will try it out this weekend as a surprise for my husband on our daily walk

No kids of my own, but as a teacher I could write a book from all of the funny things my students say. Some of my favorites: I taught a second grader who was so sweet and kind, but had an uncanny ability to make the most innocent things sound dirty. For example- We were on a field trip to a wildlife center and they were…

I just finished Gathering Blue and Messenger by Lois Lowery... They are follow up books to The Giver. (I am a teacher, so I read a lot of kids books/juvenile fiction) Currently- Room by Emma Donaghue. Really great book! The Book Thief is next on my "to read" list. I am so excited because I heard awesome things about it!

I just asked for this book for Christmas and can't wait to start reading it! Glad to see others enjoyed it so much

Agree with Tolstoy. One of the best. I have so many that it is hard to narrow it down to "The Best", but a few other favorites of mine are: “I am doomed to remember a boy with a wrecked voice – not because of his voice, or because he was the smallest person I ever knew, or even because he was the instrument of my mother’s…

I dip pickles in ketchup. I don't think it is strange, but I always get comments and weird looks when I do it.

Do you have a bread machine, or are you going to do it by hand? I have a bread machine, so I make homemade bread all the time and love how easy it is! I use allrecipes.com for most of my bread recipes. They have a ton! Read the comments to get tips and adaptations from people who have already tried the recipe. All that I…

Green smoothies are great. I also just bought a juicer to try and get more of the healthy goodness of leafy greens. I know that juicing doesn't give the fiber of a smoothie or eating the vegetables, but I like that I can drink the juice and get double-triple the nutrients than I would eating them. I also add as many…

I hate being cold when I workout, but I also hate wearing a lot of thick or heavy clothes when I run. I really like Under Armour Baselayer ColdGear as well as their Thermalwear because it keeps you warm without adding a lot of bulk. My parents have an Under Armour outlet by near them so I always stock up when I visit them,…

I am a teacher (4 years classroom experience) and have been a full time graduate student for the past 3 years. My first year of teaching was a terrible experience, and I was exhaused, both physically and mentally) every day. The first year or two in the classroom can be so challenging and exhausting and I can relate…
I can't even imagine doing this. Wasn't there an old movie based on that? Rock Hudson or something? Monica
Doris Day and Rock Hudson in Pillow Talk! The whole movie was about their connection from a shared phone line...basically Rock Hudson was the original man to use technology to create a false identity…

Here is a marinara recipe taken from the blog fashionable foodie. It is so good and I love using fresh non-processed ingredients. fresh tomato marinara sauce 8 big garden tomatoes, or 10 romas (must be garden fresh. no blando supermart tomatoes! if you must, use a couple big 28 oz cans/quarts of tomatoes.) 1/2 onion,…

Although I am a bit older than you, I can sympathize completely. When I was in college, we went out every night. I would offer to DD when I didn't want to have 100's of empty calories from drinking, which by my senior year I ended up being the DD almost every night. Not only are you saving yourself calories, you are being…

This sounds very scientific and should be made into a Wiki page immediately. Thank you for explaining half starvation mode to me as I now understand why my right hand is larger than my left. PS...If I find any of your ribs, I will notify immediately. It is a shame to be missing something that is vital for so long. Best of…
