  • High protein smoothie does it for me. One serving whey protein, one cup non-fat milk, 1/4 cup non-fat yogurt, 1/3 cup frozen blueberries, 1/3 cup frozen strawberries, 1/3 frozen banana, one serving flaxseed meal, one tablespoon honey and I'm good to go for 3-4 hours.
  • I'm 66 and too old to give up that glass of wine in the evening while cooking and eating. I do an hour of exercise each day so I can enjoy that glass of wine at night. Exercise keeps me fit and the wine keeps me happy--a win/win.
  • 1 cup lowfat/skim milk, 1/4 cup nonfat yogurt, 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla whey protein, 2 tbs. flax seed meal, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, and 1 cup sliced frozen strawberries.
