Unfortunately, I was ill health retired from my job as a postwoman so now I'm a student. I'm studying to be a teacher.

Our local Police set up our neighbourhood as a "No Cold Calling Zone" so we *shouldn't* get sales people knocking. Therefore if someone knocks, it's probably going to be a requirement that I open the door such as gas meter reading etc. However, I suffer from chronic migraines, and if I'm in bed either sleeping one off or…

I was an aunty 3 months before I was born, and a great aunt at 19....

I grew up near Manchester Airport/Cheshire, now living in North Wales and lived in Bradford for a couple of years :)

Despise Manchester United... Rugby League: Bradford Bulls The ones I support but aren't too fussed about: Australian RL: Wests Tigers NFL: Cincinnati Bengals (Can you see a slight…

I wanted to lose weight for my wedding. I did, not as much as I'd wanted but I do have health problems so that couldn't be helped. It also didn't help that the Dr put me on appetite stimulant pills about a month before and so all I wanted to do was eat lol Anyway, I'm now at the weight I wanted to be at 5 months ago when I…

Lowest "Syns" wise on Slimming World is Chicken Chow Mein I believe. But it depends whether yours comes dry or with sauce and whether your chinese cooks everything until it's dripping with grease or not lol

The only places I can find it online are places I've never heard of, amazon or john lewis. Just thought I'd reply though!

Nope, nothing like that locally to me I'm afraid :(

I believe (although I may be wrong) it's to do with the nerves around the capillaries in your skin sending out false messages when your blood vessels expand.

I'd have perhaps put "Nothing tastes as good as SLIM feels", sounds better :) But just ignore the b*tchy comments, and tbh, why are you friends with these people if they're the type that make these comments?! Who needs enemies with friends like that, eh? lol Well done, you look great :)

No, mine has a glass lid with a metal rim and I've left it on low all day before now. Slow cookers effectively steam the food, hence why you don't need to add as much liquid as you think you should. As Michael McIntyre said I'm not sure why there's such a distrust of appliances lol you trust the fridge and freezer when you…

Aquaerobics was mainly women, but if men don't start going, then how will more men start going?! lol there were a few men in our group when I used to go and we never noticed they were there to be honest. It's not as though we all spend the whole time chatting or looking each other. We spend too much time concentrating on…

I remember (years ago) there used to be specific anti chlorine shampoos you could get in Boots. Do they still do them? I'm afraid I don't go swimming often enough to worry about the chlorine. I also try not to get my hair too wet because I have to dye it nowadays and also because it's very long and I cba walking around…

I used to have a cat that loved Marmite. Not tried it on my current 4 though.

Love it, but I've recently found out it could be a migraine trigger  Then again, I don't have it that often so it's not a trigger at the moment  Oh, and I'm lucky that my husband likes it too. I realised he was the one when I found out he liked Twiglets

I usually microwave to reheat as I prefer to make sure everything's hotter than the sun right through to the middle  (and it's quicker and you don't lose as much moisture as you do when heating on the hob)
-
Are you microwaving it to reheat? If so, just bob a teaspoon or two of water in there with it when you reheat it. Usually works OK for me. I know some people put a shallow cup of water in the microwave with the food to hydrate the air as it were whilst microwaving too. I just stick to soups and casseroles

Roast chicken or turkey without the skin. Steamed veg and either new tatties or you can use fry light on roughed up par boiled then roasted tatties. I like sprinkling a little rosemary and thyme on top of the tatties while they're roasting to give them a bit more flavour. Then a little gravy using granules rather than the…
