Haven't had it in awhile, but when I was trying to break my nightly sugar addiction, I'd crush ice in a blender, put it in a mug/bowl and add Mio (or other sugar free/calorie free) flavoring syrup to it - calorie free sno-cone! :)

What about rice or avocado toast? Cucumber and hummus?

Well, I pretty much feasted on gluten free goodness for the past week! Thanksgiving was amazing and I always take off a few days from work after the holiday to bake cookies and just have fun with my mom. Needless to say, my sugar intake was insane this past week lol. And boy, can I tell! I've had headaches and just feel so…

Thank you! It was a nice realization for sure :) Although I've been feeling super "blah" here lately and haven't been sticking to my meal plan all that well. Need to reset and get re-motivated to tackle the holiday season!

I started at a 34DDD and have lost 28lbs so far. While I haven't been measured for a new bra yet, I'm guessing I'm down to the single D range. I have ALWAYS had a larger chest and wasn't thinking I'd lose much in my bra but have been pleasantly surprised. It all depends on the person though of course- but I'd say chances…

I'm at a slightly lower calorie goal but my diary is open and you're welcome to take a peek whenever :)

I'm Celiac and if corn/rice bothers you too you can do anything with gluten free oats- I make some yummy protein pancakes with Bob's Red Mill GF oatmeal in them and they're great for getting in some carbs. Also, sweet potatoes or maybe experiment with different types of GF pasta.

Omg yes! That's how I am exactly. I've branched out into eating steak but it has to be perfectly cooked with no visible fat or weird looking pieces. If a piece of chicken even has a slightly darker spot I can't eat it. And don't even get me started if I happen to bite into a piece that has that weird, hard tendon crap…

No deer meat for me lol... I'm actually super picky about meat and I have to examine every single bite before I eat it. Venison, veal, duck, rabbit, lamb- NOPE. Even with plain old chicken I always end up with a small pile of "bad pieces" that my husband takes care of for me haha.

Omg yay!!! That's awesome! Way to go, girl!

Mine is open- and I'm always looking for friends on here with open diaries :)

Artificial sweeteners don't make you fat. Eating more calories than your body burns makes you fat. Now some people can get stomach aches from consuming too much artificial sweetener, but it doesn't affect your weight loss.

Nachos for Thanksgiving sounds amazing! I've never been a big fan of traditional Thanksgiving food and even less so since my Celiac diagnosis. Plus both my and my husband's parents are divorced so we always have 4 family dinners to do for every holiday (and are expected to save room to eat at all of them!) My dad's side of…

I'm in the same boat- trying to plan ahead and be prepared for all of the holiday madness and not let it derail my health and fitness goals. At least for me, I've found it's much too hard to just simply refrain from enjoying any of the unhealthy food/drink at parties and family gatherings. It's just not realistic for my…

Those sound really good! I might have to try those out (once I can successfully get the candy tossed out or given away haha)
-
I wish I felt that way haha! I put a hurting on some Halloween candy this weekend. In fact, I'm still trying to get rid of it and just get it away from me. Candy is BY FAR my biggest weakness :#

These are so fun! I went as Cammy from Street Fighter :)

It's always nice to have someone give you a good dose of reality (especially if it's something you kind of already knew). It helps to get that kick-in-the-butt from an outside source sometimes  You're doing great though, DB! No reason to feel down on yourself! Whenever I get too caught up in my own negative…
-
That's great!! Glad it worked out for you :)

Well after trying on my costume, I'm feeling a little better about it. Still have some insecurities of course, but I'm getting super excited and I'm going to rock it no matter what!

I completely know where you're coming from and it's just the most awful, frustrating feeling. :/ Not sure if this will help, but this post from one of my favorite bloggers was really helpful to me when it comes to binge eating. http://www.canyoustayfordinner.com/2014/11/05/how-to-recover-from-binge-eating/

I actually lost 20 lbs doing just yoga and tracking my calories on MFP for 6 months. Not to sound over dramatic but yoga completely changed my life- it truly kick started my entire path to fitness! I did a fair mix of power and vinyasa style classes at least 3-6 times/week. For me anyway, just having that different level…

Victoria's Secret yoga pants are great and I really love the Fabletics pants/capris for yoga or the gym. They're thick enough to keep you covered but still thin enough to be comfortable doing any kind of activity.

13lbs in 7 weeks is AMAZING! Hopefully the medication will help where it needs to but from the sound of it, you've totally got this! And regardless of what the scale really said, that's still an awesome feeling for someone else to estimate you lower than you are. :)

Halo Top or Arctic Zero ice creams. Lower calories, higher protein and YUM!

Hi all! I'm 5'7" and currently 160lbs. I started at 187lbs in January and would like to get down to 140-135lbs. My biggest advice is to be patient and find some kind of exercise that you love! I've dreaded working out my whole life until I finally found yoga and weight lifting this year and it's made all the difference. I…

Steer clear of high calorie drinks/mixers. I typically do vodka soda with extra lime (*or I just say calories be damned and drink a boatload of wine lol). Or you make your own low cal drinks. Just order vodka over ice with a splash of water and then add some Mio flavoring yourself. No calories and tastes delicious!

The Buff Bake was on sale?! It is definitely sit-on-the-couch-with-a-spoon worthy but sooo worth a try if you can limit yourself. Having a tablespoon of Snickerdoodle or White Chocolate Buff Bake with my breakfast everyday is literally reason enough to jump out of bed in the morning lol

Welcome to all of the new people! Glad to see our little group keeps growing :) I legit lol'ed at your meme, DB! Sooo true. I went to my in-law's house this weekend and it was like being on vacation. Way, way too much good food and overindulging. Had a crazy amount of wine and GF pizza so the carb overload was insane and I…

I have an open food diary and I come in at under 150 carbs/day pretty regularly. Feel free to take a look if it helps give you some ideas at all. :)
