Welcome Steph! Joining MFP is a great first step. I actually found it by accident about 2 weeks ago and it's great. The food diary helps a lot... as long as you're honest with yourself and log in everything you eat. There is tons of great advice on here. Stay positive and know there are so many people just a keyboard away…

I find it helps if you have a "bet" with someone.... About 7 years ago my all time favorite food was ice cream. A friend of mine couldn't get enough hot dogs. Allllllright I'm in! Not gonna lie it's gonna be a tough challenge because fast food is SO convenient. Plus my boyfriend manages a Burger King 2 nights a week on top of his day job which means i can get free food...... A few years ago I had my heart broken in february and barely ate anything for 2 months due to depression. I lost a lot of weight...20 lbs......BUT!!!!!!!!!!!
