Thanks for the info, Amy. Me, hubby, and 2 boys will run this week.
-
You have done great! Awesome!

My kids started running by following our example. We signed our three boys up for the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure two years ago and now they are all runners. I would not push him into running. Each person needs to find what they like doing; running, swimming, basketball, hiking, weight training, etc.

 That is my cool down song. I gotta keep motivated somehow!

My first time I started at 223 and lost 55 pounds. I did that during my freshman year in school. This time I started at 219 and so far I have lost 29 pounds. I am a senior now. I have learned a lot more this time about what my body needs, and not trying to eat such small amounts. I am also eating what is realistic for me.…

I need to get a juicer so I can try some smoothies.

If you do your TDEE-20% it comes to about 1900 calories. Try that for a week and see if that's it.

Remember, you are stronger now! Keep at it! I have given up before and it's just not worth it.

Your pics didn't work, but I followed the link. You can totally tell that you have lost weight. It shows in your butt and stomach mostly. Great job!!

Awesome!! Surprises like that are so cool!

You are truly an inspiration!! You have accomplished so much, in spite of a big medical issue. I also am 5'2" and I used to wear a size 16. I am down to a between size 14 and 12. Size 6 is my goal.

This is how I am. I guess it would be the opposite of body dysmorphia. I never used to think I was fat until I lost weight.

Today I had Quaker Oats , 1/2 cup dry, made with water, Raisins, topped w/ 1 tsp sugar and cinnamon. I also had a 1/2 grapefruit. My cousin told me about broiling them, and they are so good that way. I also top it w/ 1 tsp sugar and cinnamon. I can't stand fake sugar, but you could use that, too. Calories-279

I am a swimmer from my high school days. When I go swimming, my heart rate gets up there, and I actually sweat while in the pool. If you aren't swimming that hard, then I don't think that you burn that many calories. You do need to consider that you are using all your muscles; legs, arms, core. It is a great calorie burner…

There are also other options. Just re-type in edamame and pick another option. Some use grams and some use cups for measuring.

I am in!!

I did, but it was planned. I exercised 3 times yesterday, though, and I am feeling it today:sad:

I would call it falling off the wagon, but since I am being conscience about the day, my calories, and exercise, I would say just leaning off the wagon

I have noticed this time, that I don't want to shove a bunch of crap in my mouth. Today I had french toast, sausage, hash browns and an egg for breakfast. I only ate half of it. For lunch I had coconut curry. And again, I only at about 1/4 of what I was served. The calories do add up fast, but I am more conscious of what I…
