  • Focus more on the veggies though guys... the fruits have natural sugar so be careful not to go overboard on the fruits... eat them yes.... but just be careful not to go crazy. Veggies, you can eat them all day long and not worry.
  • This challenge was actually an easy one for me... I eat a lot of fruits and veggies.... but we can always eat more, right?
  • My living room is very small too... it doesn't take much room at all. it would work amazing for strength training. I have lost over 12 inches in 2 weeks with this and am MUCH stronger than I was before... in ALL areas. 2 1/2 inches gone from my waist and my arms aren't near as "flappy". It is great for strength!!! I HIGHLY…
  • Hey... I am a working mom of 4, (10, 8, 6, 8 months)... the only time I can get in a workout is when everyone goes to bed... it's not easy but you have to remind yourself that those kids need you to be healthy so you can be around for them for many many years to come. Hang in there... I do the 30 ds right now with Jillian…
  • I just love before and afters... this time next year I hope to be posting my own. I have "tried" to lose weigh before but this time is different. It is a serious thing for me this time and I can't wait to be able to share my own success story. Congratulations to all of you on your amazing success! This is EXACTLY what I…
  • It sounds weird but I agree.... I find it very 'unlady' like when women/girls swear... that sounds so "1950's". I guess I am "old school".
  • I did nutrisystem and there were definitely some things that were GREAT... and others that were just not edible. LOL. After the first month on the program you find what is good and not. The thing I hated was that they still tell you all this other stuff to eat also, so you still end up buying an arm and a leg of other…
  • I am a "big" person and the veggie snack doesn't have to be 1 piece of celery... it could be a whole cup full... along with some crackers, or a pouch of tuna, or even celery with peanut butter... there are lots of ideas. Anything with protein will fill you up which is why the protein shakes work well. It's not about how…
  • I log it under circuit training.... not sure how accurate it is though... it gives me I think 245 calories.... That first day is a KILLER... I was supposed to do day 4 last night but I fell asleep. I took that as a sign that my body was EXHAUSTED and needed the sleep. IT DOES GET EASIER... so hang in there... The first day…
  • Actually, she is asking for ideas of what to eat... I would love to hear more ideas of things to eat for under 100 cals... what do you have? (not being sarcastic... I am actually asking... :-) )
  • OH... and also Tuna... they make little pouches of tuna now that don't stink as bad... GREAT source of protein (18 grams)... low cals (80). you can mix in a little bit of light mayo/miracle whip if you don't like the taste of tuna by itself. This is a great snack before bed too because that protein will make you feel…
  • Do a veggie.... veggies are hardly any calories and will give you that "satisfying" feeling enough to fall asleep. Whenever you feel hungry, grab a little veggie snack. If you continue to "go without" your weight loss journey will be a short one because you will feel like it is too hard or that you are depriving yourself…
  • I have mine set to private because I don't want anyone to nit pick my choices.... if I want to spend 80 calories to eat a cookie, I don't want to feel like I need to "justify" it.
  • just did day 1.... I THINK I MAY DIE! ugh! Would love to be a part of a group of people doing the shred to keep me motivated. All I know is it HAS to get easier because he can't get any harder than it was tonight!
  • I was just wondering this exact thing... I just did day 1 and I feel like I am going to DIE! I guess it will get easier if done everyday but man... it was rough for me...
  • Sorry my post was so long... blessings!

  • Hi All... looks like I am the highest weighing person so far... guess that just means more motivation! My name is Jackie. I am a mom of 4... yes, 4 kids ages 10, 8, 6 and 7 months. My weigh problems started in middle school with gaining a few extra pounds here and there. I never really felt "fat" until after my 2nd child…

  • great job!!! keep up the good work!
  • I put my bfing in through my food diary and allot 500 cals for it... I am still trying to figure out what number is right for me. Just started about a week ago and haven't found that magic number yet that allows my supply to stay strong and lose weight... I guess it will take some time to figure it all out. I am still…
  • heat... it helps... BUT...... it is worse in the long run because it will relax the area and not take the swelling down so it does do any real good other than relax you. The ice will decrease any swelling so it helps more than the heat. What you can do is alternate, heat/ice every 20 minutes. In the long run, once it…
  • I am super impressed by the poster above me... 103 lbs lost! That is incredible! I am very impressed! Keep up the good work... and to catecn.... welcome! You will love this site!

  • You have to take the calories burned and eaten very loosely. I take them as an "estimate" on here. Sometimes I am good... and I am under. Sometimes I go a little over. It is so hard to be right on... like you said, you shouldn't eat back all of the calories unless you know 100 percent exactly what you burned and that is…
  • You will love this site... it is addicting! For me it really makes me accountable for the food I put into my body. It is so easy to eat that one donut or have another tortilla... but when it cuts into a number that you have to hit... ouch, you feel it. I love love love this site. I need some friends to keep me motivated...…

  • I have the same thing... and what works for me is to take ibruprophen about 30 minutes before I work out. I know this doesn't SOLVE anything... but the doctor said my pain will probably never go away... only losing weight will help make it less. So I take that before working out and ice down afterward.
  • HAHAHA!!! my sister always joked to me that as soon as I start losing weight I always end up pregnant, and IT IS SO TRUE... for the same reason! don't give up! I know for me, this site has helped and I also have thyroid problems... they started right after I had my second child. The doctor was SHOCKED because I was so…
  • a factory.... hahahaha..... This makes me laugh because I do too!!!
  • what is a body bug?
  • I log in daily, it keeps me on track food wise. I weigh in after a few days. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment when I see it go down. I set my goals myself. I felt that the amount that they put was too high. I can't take in that much eating healthy food.... so I never hit it. It will ask you to readjust they goals…
  • Chick fil a has a great chargrilled wrap. I eat half of the wrap, fruit and a bottled water for lunch. It keeps me under 300 for lunch, not bad. I am not sure how much you have alloted for lunch. Hope this gives you an idea.
