Biking is great fun. I've been riding for years and am back out again this year. Its great exercise and fun wrapped all in one. You also burn lots of calories. Keep building slowly and before you know it you will be riding long an far.

I am not sure it does ask or if it does I certainly didn't get a message. I've lost 11 pounds since logging back into myfitnesspal. I am on a 1600 calories diet and try to work out at least 3 times a week but sometimes 4 and I am losing 1 to 2 pounds per week. You just have to keep consistent with your exercise and watch…

Good gracious girl its not the end of the world to cheat. Just pick yourself back up and stand firm on your plan to get fit and healthy and move forward. I go over my calories all the time and cheat and I just get right back on track the next day. I think its getting easier and easier to eat better. Today even with eating…

What I really hate is buffet style restaurants where you pick all the healthy choices and eat a nice green leafy Salad and still end up eating way too much. Doesn't help that I just had to have ice cream for dessert but it was only a cup.

I looked into this too, but what I have to wonder is if you start using this product and lose weight you will then want to keep using it. So you will end up paying thousands of dollars a year to drink a shake. I am skeptical of these types of things because they promise results but once you are addicted to their product…

You have a very metabolism and when you eat carbs you apparently digest them faster then the average person. The problem is that carbs do not satisfy for very long before you start feeling hungry again. Protein is the way to stay feeling full for longer. If you are running track or cross country you need protein to help…

Wow!! You look fabulous......Keep up the hard work. I seriously have no excuses if you can lose 100lbs I certainly can lose my meager 30.

I say take the plunge jump on that scale. You might not like what you see, but then again you might be pleasantly surprised too. How will you ever know how well you are doing if you don't weigh in. Do it once a week and you won't feel like your are failing if you gain a half a pound one day. Good luck on your continuing…

I am curious how long it has taken each of you to lose the pounds you have already lost. I have a goal to lose 30 pounds but before I started this I gained six and have lost that now and a few extra pounds so I am moving in the right direction but I am feeling like I want it to happen quicker and I know that is not good…

Sounds like your metabolism is slowing down. Try switching up the foods you eat each week so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. Eat more one day less another, but don't go under your 1000 calories (which is already way too low). It will then shut down the weight loss because your brain tells your body you…

I too struggled with this when I started using it back in 2012 in fact I completely quit doing it cause I hated thinking about it and would stress about it. So here I am again trying to do it again only this time I am doing it with two of my friends and we are working out together and keeping one another in check. So don't…

Its funny how some people can give up one aspect of sugar and lose weight, and others like myself give up sugar and didn't even lose one stinking pound. Gonna try it again though!!
-
I took a month off from eating any sugar and yes it was very hard. Now when I say sugar I mean SWEETS!! Cookies, candy, ice cream, all desserts. I did not however eliminate ALL sugar. I ate yogurt with sugar in it, peanut butter, and also used honey. There is sugar in so many products but giving up the BEST sugar was hard…

You go girl!! I would like to be more like you. You inspire me!!

I too am on synthroid (Levoyhroxin) and just this week I did a search for this because one day I forgot to take the meds. and oddly enough I didn't feel hungry even at normal meal times. I ate less and still felt satisfied!! I have been struggling with this for awhile but it never occurred to me that it could be the…

Are you doing any cardiovascular exercises or weight lifting to help with the weight loss?
