Ask your PT to take a look at your food diary. A good PT should advise you on nutrition and be willing to look at what you are eating.

Cereals are very high is sugars. Maybe you could try having a more protein based breakfast or oats????

I have heard a lot of bad stuff about artifical sweetners. I am sure you could find some articles on google. Personally I think anything natural, whole and unprocessed is better then anything artificial. As you work towards cutting sugar out of your diet why not try brown unrefined sugar or honey or argarve nectar or maple…

I add Fage greek yogurt to my porridge after I have cooked it with water. I also add some stewed apple, sultanas, seeds and spirulina poweder. I love it!

I have oats made with water. I add some stewed apple, natural greek yogurt, sultanas, sunflower seeds, pumpkins seeds and spirulina powder. I love it and it keep sme feeling full up for a long time.
