Isn't Weight Watchers counting calories though? They just have that fancy calculator that turns calories into "points". I know they do the veggies/fruits are no calories plan but every thing else is based off of calories. Unless I'm missing something.

Sometimes I get frustrated with weighing. He knows when a meltdown is coming and stays out of my way. Sometimes he'll say "You're measuring that?!" **I look down at my measly dollop of peanut butter weighed perfectly in grams** then I go into my rant about how I MUST weigh every morsel that passes my lips and about how…

I sweat so much that I literally peel the clothes off right when I'm done. Then I wash my face stat because sweat causes me to break out really bad. Not sure why! Then I will bum around for a few mins naked then shower. I work out at home! LOL

I'm kinda boring. I had a salad with 3oz chicken breast, shredded cheddar cheese, low fat Kraft Three Cheese Ranch and Marzetti Garlic Cheese croutons. I like cheese! It's my typical lunch. I only like cooking big dinners!

That's weird cause the only way I've been able to lose weight and keep it off is through MFP. The moment I stopped is when I slipped back into my old ways and gained back the weight I lost plus 20lbs :0/ Now I've lost 35lbs and I eat ice cream and brownies too! Who da thunk?!

The only reason I have an issue with Diet Coke is that it gave me really bad acid reflux problems. I try to stay away from it but I tend to have it when I drink. I used to drink like 6 cans a day. I never drank water. Just Coke. The grocery bill is better now that my addiction to it is gone lol. But honestly if it didn't…

I weigh every morning after I urinate. Sometimes I am up a little bit if I had something carb heavy, a lot of sodium or it's the TOM. But I don't freak out if it's up a little bit. Like I will have a serving of pasta and a lot of times it will be up the next day but I know for sure I didn't eat 3500 calories so I don't…

In my opinion 119lb on 5'4" body is not underweight or sickly. I'm 5'4" and I know that 5lb can make a big difference on a little frame. According to BMI you would be in the normal range. Even if you got down to 110 you would be at the absolute low end of normal. I think it depends on what you're trying to achieve with…

My rewards so far- -Being able to tie my shoes without getting out of breath -Being able to bend over to pick up said shoes without a damn struggle -Being able to stand at the kitchen sink to wash dishes without my back hurting/having to stop because my core is too weak -Getting into my fiance's low sports car without a…

You go girl! Wow! It's stories like this that inspire me everyday to keep working toward my goal. Thank you for sharing!

Welp, I was 260lbs and I had still had men hitting on me. Even with my fiancè in the same room. My fiance is no slob either. Works out 6 days a week and is a good looking man. Been with him for 13 years. I met him when I was a nice 135lbs and he's been with me through my weight gain and everything. There's so many fish in…

Chinese take out, deep dish Chicago style pizza, burger and fries, steak and anything with chili like chili cheese fries and hot dogs. My weakness! Oh and sweets-chocolate/vanilla cake with Bavarian filling, ice cream, and cheesecake. I'm getting hungry now lol! I couldn't pick just one. haha!

Gosh I used to be Diet Coke queen! I even lost weight drinking it. But I had to stop because of acid reflux. I had pains right where my esophagus and stomach meet which was attributed to my coke addiction. I have a hard time drinking it now because it's sweet and I'm not used to it anymore. I think to myself "I can't…

People don't get fat from sugar. They get fat from eating too much food. I have eaten sugar everyday since January and lost 30lbs merely sticking to a caloric deficit. Sugar is not the enemy. Stuffing your face past your body's calorie allotment is.

Svedka Vodka with Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Lite. The tartness compliments the vodka well. I also like rum and diet coke.

You betta work *****! *dances crazily around room*

Eat more fat and a little bit of carb. I find that when I don't include enough fat into my meals I get hungry faster. Even if I have just carbs and a lot of protein.

I admit I can hate exercise too. Couple things that I've done to combat this is to find exercise that can burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time with decent benefits. I do kettle bell 15-20 mins and I find myself really enjoying it while getting a decent workout out of it. Also doing high intensity type workouts…

I am on 1500 a day. Generally I like to leave 450 calories for dinner. I eat a lot of the same things everyday so it doesn't change much unless I decide to have a larger lunch. Then I go for a lighter dinner. I like to keep my day pretty even with a snack in between and my coffee. It also can vary if I exercise. Then I…

I agree with the "cheat day is a bad idea" people. You're essentially killing all the the work you did that week by allowing yourself a free-for-all day. Because, let's be real, when you have a cheat day you want to live it up. You want the tasty restaurant fat bomb and huge *kitten* dessert with all the toppings. At least…

I agree with the person that said you need to up your protein. I also do 1500 calories a day and what tends to work for me is a 30/30/40 macro set. I do 30% carbs, 30% fat, and 40% protein. I generally eat about 20-30g carbs per meal 3 times a day and 2 snacks at 10-15g of carbs depending on how I feel. I've lost 30lbs…

Well I'll admit that I'm quite the scale *kitten*. I weigh myself daily and I do it because it helps me in check. I do expect fluctuations here and there but anything over 1-2lbs has me saying "why?!" and that's typically because I try to follow a diet lower in carbs and salt as much as I possibly can. Also if you haven't…

I stopped soda because I have bad acid reflux but I was a diet coke queen. I didn't drink water at ALL. Now that I have switched to just water I can't go back to the soda because I can just feel it burning my esophagus (weird I know). But hey if I could have some now I definitely would have it in moderation. I mean who…

I like to have 2 boiled eggs with mustard, 2 breakfast links, and half an english muffin with 0.5oz peanut butter (430 cals). Some days I have a spinach, banana, mango, and apple smoothie. It really just depends how I feel. I also like steak n eggs. I tend to be set for many hours if I have a decent amount of protein and…

Hi I'm Melissa and I also have a lot of weight to lose! I've already lost about 24lbs since January. It's tough and it's work but I think we can do it! Feel free to add!

For me personally, I had to kick most of the things like cake, ice cream, and cookies completely out for like 2 months before I could reintroduce them at moderate portions because I was out of control on sweets. It is really about what you think you can handle. If you feel you can't get a grip then maybe the best option is…

You aren't alone! I got down to 195lbs and then started having a meltdown that I still had way more to go. I got lazy and I got tired of trying. I gained all the weight I lost back plus an extra 20lbs. Please whatever you do, don't give up! Just push on through. You can do it! It is a long road, no denying that, but once…

I will admit there are certain trigger foods I do not keep in the house. Ice cream, cake, cookies, and pizza. I am the type of person that can sit down and eat a whole large delivery pizza plus breadsticks and pasta then dessert by myself if I wanted. One major thing that helped me with portion control is my scale. I now…
