It's taken me 9 months to lose a little over 110lbs It was very easy at the start, then it became more difficult, now it's easy again. I have about 30 lbs give or take a few to go. Male 6' 3", 350lbs at start now 237lbs.

Personally I'd check the scales, are they on a hard floor or carpet. 10lbs is a lot even if it is water. Personally I tend to ignore massive shifts like this, give it a few days and try again.

I do ultra low-carb but I'm under no illusion that the reason I have lost the weight is through a calorie deficit. You need to find something you can stick with and gives you the right result, whatever that might be.

I think we all know Christmas might be a problem :) So get one in as close as possible, it's actually motivated me to not indulge too much, it's just my wife and I this year and we haven't gone mad buying loads of bad stuff, we will have a good Christmas day but without the week long excess afterwards.

Done it, I weighed myself this morning and I have reached the target I wanted to by the end of the year (93.7 lbs). I was going to wait until after the new year to set a new goal but that seemed counter productive and if I want to get where I need to be I will have to keep the momentum going. 257lbs - No change for me this week, but it's party season here so to maintain is not too bad. I think it might be tough over the next few weeks to keep on track, I only have 5lbs to go so hopefully I can drop a couple of pounds here and there.
