Excellant choice. I stopped drinking them 10 months ago and it really helped with my weight loss. Everything I have read says that the diet drinks are even worse for you. I now drink nothing (other than morning coffee) with any calories. Mostly I just drink iced green tea, water and Propel. Good Luck!

Because of my work schedule I can only get to the gym to workout 3 days a week, M-W-F. Would be nice to workout more, but that is not possible for me

I would not encourage you to give up, however I do not think anyone will be successful unless they are truly committed.

Morning coffee with French Vanilla creamer. I can take in 300 calories in a morning just with that.
-
Eliptical for me. I have been using the treadmill at the gym for a year and hate running, I was hoping to eventually like it, but that is not happening.

I work out at a gym 3 days a week, at 5am on my in to work. I am usually there for 1-1.5 hours I focus mostly on cardio. Treadmill, Eliptical and Bike.

Height 5' 11". Started in Feb 2011 at 240 pounds and am now 194. My original goal was 200, but I have changed it to 185.

Same problem here!! I can do realy good all day and wreck it in the evening
-
Drink extra water and eat a piece of fruit that I have available if needed.
-
170 would be ideal. I am shooting for 185

It is all about calories in vs calories out. If you are burning more calories than you are consuming then you will loose. However the less active you are the less you can eat and still get results. Also the physical activity increases your metabolism and the amount of calories you body burns through the day

Congratulations, you have done a great job!! Keep it up!!!

Other than morning coffee, I do not drink ANYTHING with any calories in it. Also, I have replaced my dinner carbs (Potato, pasta, rice) with raw carrots and celery.

For every 10 pounds I loose I get a massage. So far I have gotten 4. It does not really motovate me, but is a nice reward and each time I feel like I am making progress.

You are not alone. My weight loss goal was 55 pounds. I got to 52 and it all came to a screaching halt. that was 2 months ago. I have since gained 6 pounds and am now just spining my wheels. I have tried changing my workout, increasing water intake and nothing changes. I cannot offer any great help, but to let you know…

I could not agree more!! Sounds like making lots of excuses instead of parenting. I would call it abuse

I have been having a Kellogs Nutri-grain bar each morning for breakfast. Good tasting, several flavors and only 130 calories

You can do this. I have lost 40 pounds so far, by doing 4 things. Work out in a gym for an hour and half 3 times a week Replace dinner time carbs (Potato and Pastas) with raw fruits and vegetables Don't drink anything with calories in it Log all your food with MFP so you can see where the calories are coming from.
