I'm 5'3 and 145 pounds. I started at 152. I also have a goal of 125. My eating the last few weeks hasn't been very good. I hope it's ok to add some of you as friends. I need the motivation.

Thanks for the help/suggestions heybales and NancyN795. I guess since I go to bed close to 11:00 and I pretty much do step-type workouts I haven't run into any issues. But those are good things to keep in mind. I also read the stickies. Good information there.

I just got the Charge HR last week. This is my first Fitbit or HR monitor so I have no experience syncing Fitbit and MFP. Someone with more experience, please tell me if this method will work: Look at the total calories burned on Fitbit and subtract 500 (too lose 1 pound a week). Then use MFP to track my caloric intake.…

I just bought the Charge HR in black (love the plum color but it's back ordered until June). I was looking into buying a heart rate monitor and decided to buy this one. I've only had it two days. It's very comfortable and keeps you accountable. I was surprised at which parts of my day I am not moving much. I teach first…

I weigh every day, but only first thing in the morning before I've eaten or drinken anything. I use the restroom first and weigh without clothes. I feel that's the best way to stay most accurate. I only record a loss if it stays the same for three days. My scale isn't digital, so I only record in whole numbers. Congrats on…

I always had the mentality that if I exercised then I could eat what I want. But, it doesn't seem to really work that way. I just started using My Fitness Pal earlier this week. I have become obsessed with recording everything I eat, the amount of water I drink, and how much I excercise. The calorie calculator doesn't lie.…
