This is normal. Weight loss isn't going to be consistent each week, especially given how much closer you are to your goal weight versus someone who has to lose 50 or 60 pounds. Some weeks you lose a lot, some you lose a little and some you may not lose any weight at all though often you may find that you have lost inches.…

I eat them back and didn't have any issue losing weight.

It's much easier to get fit once you do find your motivation, but it is slow going. It took me a year and a half to get where I'm at today. After years of trying and failing and trying and failing I found something that worked which for me was MFP and taking baby steps. It may seem overwhelming and difficult now, but it is…

That I'm awesome! :) True story.

I can't see your food diary so I can't comment on what you are eating. But it is time to stop the gimmick diets. Weight loss isn't about a diet. It is about a lifestyle change. What ever you do to lose weight needs to be something you plan to sustain for the rest of your life. You can't just go back to "normal" eating once…

I did the same thing and kept running through the pain. I decided to wait until it got worse. Ended up with serious nerve damage and, on doctor's orders I wasn't allowed to even walk more than a block. I was completely out of commission for three months and it sucked! Biking actually is not nearly as hard on your knees as…

Congratulations!! You are doing great! You must be so proud! Keep it up!!

Tell them you know a great diet they should try. (I'm only four pounds from goal and am doing just fine, but people still feel the need to tell me how I should or shouldn't eat.)

- Don't eat after 8 pm. - Eating citrus after cheating will help you purge calories. - Dairy is bad. - Eggs are bad. - Carbs are bad.
-
So true. Can't feel bad for you given the people I know who need a job and will actually work during the time they are being paid to work. At my job we do sometimes get down time where there isn't anything to do, but knowing how much your computer usage is watched in the workplace nowadays, I keep that stuff to my iPad and…

Your diary is open so there's no way to assess for sure. 80% of weight loss is what and how much you eat so I'd have to see that to know for sure.

Same here, except that instead of the Jamie Eason program, I just started doing Lindsay Kaye Miller's fitness routine and a modified version of her muscle building nutrition plan. I loved the muscle I was getting with my old routine with my trainer, but decided to amp it up a bit by dropping a lot of the cardio I was…

Ditto here. I think it's because during the work week I have a set routine that has become a habit, but on the weekend I crave variety so I usually make one of those days a cheat day where I allow myself more of the foods I like and one day I aim to stay within my calorie limit, but am more lax on the macros.

You can buy various sizes of bottled water from the 99 Cent store and use those as weights from small 16 oz. sizes to the gallon jugs.

Nope. I have those days as well.

When I was doing the 1200 calorie thing, I came up with this dish that I had for lunch every day and still love: Brown rice (I used the microwaveable long grain brown rice pouches from Trader Joe's - either 3/4 of a cup or 1 1/2 cups.) 1-2 oz. sliced turkey breast (not the deli slices made of pressed turkey parts, Columbus…

When I started I was 243 pounds and a size 20/22. I lost my measurements from then. Now I'm 157 pounds and a size 6/8. Measurements are 40-33-38.

Best: A guy I used to have a crush on was so stunned by the change that he couldn't talk about anything else. Worst: Co-workers who feel the need to warn that I'm going to get fat again anytime they see me eating anything "bad".

If you're not hungry, then don't eat. If your body needs to eat more, it will let you know. When I do a lot of exercise, I sometimes experience a loss of appetite and then the next day I'm hungrier. You may experience the same thing.

YUM!!

And we are happy you are here! Good luck!!

1 cup yogurt 1/4 cup orange juice 3/4 cups of berries (fresh or frozen) 1 scoop protein powder (I love Designer Whey French Vanilla.) 1 tbsp flaxseed or chia seeds

A million times this! People get surprisingly upset if you tell them you lost weight the normal, healthy way that we've always been told to lose it. And even when you are doing well, people will still try to get you to switch to their gimmick fads anyway because they know it's better than your way.
-
:flowerforyou: I never started getting comments about my weight until I started losing it and then strangers on the street would feel the need to criticize me for it. Even now I still get people who think I should lose 15 more pounds and others who think I'm too skinny and probably anorexic. It's one thing for a family…

Your friends got used to you hanging out with them and drinking with them and they got comfortable with that routine, but now you've changed the dynamic and they aren't used to it. You aren't a big baby. They are for expecting you to not change. Stick to your guns and don't get frustrated. Or invite them out for a Sunday…

Definitely this!
