my husband has sleep apnea, and i can tell it's gotten a lot worse since he's packed on a "few" extra pounds. i know one night i counted to like 50 when he would stop breathing! scared the crap outta me! he's now on a sleep apnea machine. i'm trying to get him on track on MFP with me, so hopefully someday he can be rid of…

i know the depressed feeling all to well. but just starting out, i would recommend working on your calorie counting and portion control. start with small things to work towards your big goal. like we say in my mk unit(it's actual the theme of our unit) b.o.s.s. ~ building on small successes. without the small successes,…

i usually get at least 8 a day. highest i have gotten is like 16. the more water you drink, the fuller you stomach tends to feel too. hint for water: lukewarm water before/during meals, makes your stomach feel fuller so you eat less. and right after food, drink cold, helps you stomach start digesting food better/faster.

have to love mine more again today. tried another quesadila(sp) type thing today, light bit of butter on it, with a serving of sliced ham, and a serving of shredded cheese......................YUM! kinda want another, who knows, that could be supper too!

for all those with problems cleaning your george foreman: i found one of the slickest ways EVER to clean mine. don't know if i'm supposed to do it, but we have a squirt bottle, and when it's plugged in, i spray the hot grills and it loosens whatever is grilled on, and just wipe it lightly with a paper towel until it's…

just go to yahoo and search for something. sure you can get many recipes from that. allrecipes or something like that .com has a lot usually of varied stuff. otherwise whatever you would grill, you could do. you could do things on flat bread, you could make fajitas, anything you can imagine for the most part.

i LOVE our george foreman as well. even if it's not busting the fat outta our hamburgers/steaks/hot dogs. tonight we experimented with ours. made pepperoni quasadeas(however you spell it) and for desert we took a tortialla shell with a light light light amount of butter, marshmallows, and some chocolate chips and grilled…

i don't know if there is a limit to it, but however many calories you burned, that gets added onto your calories remaining. it confuses me a bit too, but my general way about it, is that it gives me more play with what i want to eat in a day, you can still try and stay under your new calorie goal.

best thing that i have found is just go to yahoo and type in calories burned from zumba or whatever you are doing, and usually within 1-3 sites, you can find one that does ____ lbs ____ time done and it comes up with exact calories for YOUR weight, not just a generic one.

the weight is coming off. but you are replacing it with muscle. don't worry about the number on the scale. look at the number the tape measurements are what are AMAZING! the wait will start coming off soon enough. be proud of the sizes dropping!

i ALWAYS add my cleaning(which i should be doing now!). and i do it because i'm a stay at home mom that has been stuck inside for like 2 weeks(THANKS STINKIN RAIN!) and that gets to be my exercise cause i can't go out and play at the park with my kids. and you do burn calories, so why not track it?

WAY TO GO! congrats on meeting your first goal. and your body does need change. just like if you did the same exercise every day for a long time, your body would get used to is, say 30 minutes on the treadmill for 2 days a week, your body gets used to it and needs more to get the same burn. just like an addiction, you can…

WAY TO GO! this is my first day on here, and i already see someone who was at about my starting weight, and ends at about my goal weight. and just to see that someone else can do it, it's a big reassurance that i, and anyone else with weight loss goals can do it. THANK YOU!
