Sounds fantastic!!! I can't wait to get started! I am starting college next month, which is why I'm not going to volunteer for the co-captain position. Just wanted to acknowledge that request but I know one of the awesome ladies on our team will do a wonderful job in the position! Our team is so going to kick butt and take…

I'm sure there are a lot of new members who don't realize they can search, or not sure how to do an actual search, or don't think the question has been asked before, no matter how obvious others "long timers" might find it. I'm sure you just scared off a lot of newbies from asking any future questions. Hopefully you're not…

I also like Teal Terminators. Sounds intimidating! LOL Or like Calorie Killers lol Grrrr!!!

I only watched last week and last nights of this season. John was in it to win the money, and nothing else. Last week when he was home I wanted to strangle him, saying his wife was doing everything so he could train. That wasn't the point of going home, it was to live a "normal" life. He is going to gain all the weight…

He's my best friend's brother. We met when I was 14 and he was 12, we started dating when I was 27 and he was 25 and we've been together as a couple for almost 9 years. He's my best friend now over his sister!

LOL I get tons of protein and fat, hence me using MFP to lose the fat...and I think I get more protein then most meat eaters. *sigh* again, why I need MFP!
-
LOL My side note: I'm vegetarian, almost vegan. My hubby is a meat eater. I don't hound him, I do try to educate him, but I by no means make him switch. I even cook his meals, though I did cry the last time I had to make his hamburger patties out of the ground beef! LMAO He didn't see me though. :embarassed: I try to…

Well I did log Thanksgiving...all 4,000 + calories! And honestly, I'm glad I did, because I really didn't think I was that bad until I saw it all on the screen! I will most likely do the same thing for Christmas, just to keep things in perspective!

I was wondering the same thing, about what's next, I found this over on the "contestant's thread"....it looks like the next step will be to get a team name together, that we need to vote on or something LOL...says the name is due 12/31. First weigh in is 1/13 ...but not sure when the actual blogs and challenges will start,…

Hi Team! My name is Carren, I'm 35 years old and currently weigh 230lbs. I had joined MFP earlier this year, lost a bit and then lost motivation. I realized in November that I had hit my highest weight to date of 238lbs and finally decided enough is enough. I have been overweight since I was about 19, and have been on…

I didn't go through the responses, so if this or something similar was posted, sorry! I microwave my sweet potatoes for 10 minutes (stab it with a fork a couple times on each side so it doesn't explode in the microwave) and just put Newman's Own Pineapple Salsa on it. Freaking amazing, fast and yummy!

You look fantastic! WTG!

I think that is an absolutely fabulous NSV!! And give you hubby a hug from the MFP team for his recognition! Men, sometimes they are just oblivious! It's awesome that he's taking notice! Congratulations on the weigh loss, you look fabulous!

This is mine too. I play FFXI and every time I log in and find myself sitting there for hours I realize I could have been on the elliptical or on the bike burning some serious calories. *sigh* Only good thing is I don't have kids, so I don't have to worry about the attentive guilt thing, and my hubby plays too, more than…

I was totally going to post this question today! Thank you for doing it! Looking forward to reading all the responses. I have horrible periods, and always wonder what other women do!

I was going to reply to each of you in turn, but I thought a collective "AWW!!! Thank you guys/girls" would work too. You're all hot (8's and up!!) in my book!! :drinker:

Hi everyone, my name is Carren, I'm 35 years old and looking to lose a total of about 88lbs. My 36th birthday is May 27th and I want more than anything to be able to celebrate it as close to 150lbs as possible! I have not been in a bathing suit since 2009 and I haven't been in a bikini since 1992!!!!! Holy cow. I just want…

Can't find the group! Is it too late to join? Sent a friend request though. I really hope it's not too late!

LMAO!!!! Oops! I was laughing so hard at this I forgot to list mine. I actually agree with mostly everyone else on here, however my top favorites are Godsmack, Tool (and Maynard's other band Puscifer), Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson.

I have many fears that I guess would be considered "normal", however two that come to mind that I get made fun of the most for are...1. The covers must be tucked in at the end of the bed. I can not have my feet out at all, even if its 100 degrees out, I must have covers over my feet! 2. When I go to bed the closet door…

I don't know how to burp. My fingers are double jointed. My idol is Bettie Page and I have always wanted to be a pin up model.

I used to work in the medical field and our doctor always paid for us to get one since we were always around sick people, it was mandatory as well. After I left that job, I always got one on my own. Now I have a medical condition that makes me more susceptible to getting sick, so I really "have" to get it. I've never had…

Nutritional Yeast is a "deactivated" yeast. Meaning it doesn't rise like bread yeast. Because the name is so not good sounding, I've picked up the slang term of "Nooch". I think this is the best description of it that I could find: nutritional yeast, believe it or not, is a valuable nutritional supplement as it contains…
