I have the exact same symptoms you do when I am working out and tweaking my diet. One of the causes is that your ph tends to change and that creates the acne along with some other female problems. I never had problems with acne when I was a teenager so it just boggles me that I have to use so much cover up. The acne…

My shirts have been getting pretty big on me too and am having to deal with the peekaboo bra straps. The other day I was with my son at the store and he grabbed me by the shirt to pull me down an aisle and "woops" there goes my shirt. Got to flash a little more than just a bra strap. Was more like a wardrobe malfunction at…

I love eating my tuna with low fat mayonaise and olive oil. I also eat it right out of the can with a spoon too. The avocado sounds delish, gotta try that one!

I'm gonna have to get one of those too. Losing so much weight does not treat the girls quite well!

I know that his issue is just jealousy but I've also gotten it from other family members. For example, one of my sisters refuses to look at me when she talks to me because she hates seeing me as I get smaller. She told me once that she hates that I'm losing so much weight because SHE was the skinny one of the family. NOT…

Are you getting enough water? Is there a possibility that you are retaining water weight? I had the same issue you're talking about and it DID turn out to be just water weight. Took me 2 weeks to figure this out and rectify the problem so that my correct weight loss finally showed.

Agreed! I get the same thing with ice cream at home. " Oh come on hunny, I got your favorite flavor." *kitten*!!

I must be in a completely different club than you guys! lol. I hate getting on that scale and I weigh myself either once a week or every two weeks. I try to weigh in on Mondays but if I miss it that first week, I wait till the next Monday to weigh in. I was taught by my boot camp trainer to not be chained to your scale.…

I have found the same thing and I also find it hard to make myself eat the calories I should be eating because I need to come back here and log everything. If that makes any sense. Although, with all the extra classes I've been taking, I've been forcing myself to eat but even that feels like hard exercise. lol

Don't worry, it's the build up of lactic acid in your body that is causing the nauseousness. I had that happen when I first started boot camp. I literally had to take a plasting bag with me to each session so I could puke when I needed to. Depending on how long you've been going at it. That feeling could take anywhere from…

Well, actually I'm the momma. If there is one thing I can appreciate with Disney is that they take your kids for you so you can enjoy the finer things in life like a MASSAGE!
-
I get the same thing. It's your muscles adjusting to the loss of lactic acid. When you work out you tend to break up the lactic acid that has been built up in your muscles. Once that goes, everything kind of moves around and knots up. That's why it's a good idea to do some massage on the muscles just used so you can limit…

If I can get myself down to 225 lbs by the end of the year I have 2 things planned. First, I'm getting my skin removal surgery done on my arms so I can finally wear tank tops and sleeveless shirts! Second, I'm taking myself and the kids on a Disney cruise and momma getting some pampering in da spa!! :flowerforyou: For…

I agree with you but I also just left a post under one of the other topics about the other side of the coin. Yes, they shouldn't be forced to change their lifestyle because we made that decision but they also shouldn't be going out of their way to purposely sabotage us. I'm finding a lot of that with some of the members of…

Adding on to some of the other suggestions already mentioned. They also have socks with a little extra support for your arches. I got the brand "No-Nonsense" at Walmart that you can clearly see a tighter band where your arch would be located. These are quite comfortable along with a set of insole supports. They give you…

One trick my boot camp trainer showed me was to roll out your muscles. Try using a foam roller and then lay on the floor and roll back and forth along the roller for the muscles that are giving you the trouble. If you don't have a foam roller available, then you can use a tennis ball/softball or even a rolling pin. My…

I always log my boot camp as circuit training or calisthenics.

I had this problem last week. Try to get a workout in before going. Then stick to steamed, grilled or raw items. In my case, I had grilled chicken without the soy sauce, peel n eat shrimp, crawfish and crab legs. Picked the broccoli out of the beef n broccoli and had some steamed dumplings (dumplings are still a little…

The freeways were closed here and everyone was advised to stay in. We did some major cleaning and laundry!! Then we broke into an hour of playing Just Dance 2. Taking a break to watch just a little tv then going right back to Just Dance. :drinker:

Holy cow, this game is great! Just got it last night and I can't put it down. I'm scoring well on my favorite songs and the others are blah!! lol I'm going to be soo tired for boot camp tonight. lol

When I log my boot camp, I log it as circuit training. Most boot camps are a mix of circuit training or calisthenics. Hope this helps.

Ok, this definitely sounds like the topic I should comment on. I work 4.5 days a week for my main job for hospital support in the state. My four days start at 8:00p - 8:30a each shift and my half shift starts at 2am and runs till 8:30a. Ok, enough of my work schedule. I had the same predicament as you guys did and didn't…

I like spinning myself or if you have Wii boxing, that can give you some killer calorie burns. If you have joint issues, there is also water aerobics. I started a deep water aerobics class yesterday and I have never gotten such a but kick from doing that class. In a normal water aerobics class you have the benefit of being…

I have a weird schedule where on 3rd shift I work 12.5 hrs then I go to workout right away when I get out in the morning. If I don't do that, there is a good chance I won't get my workout in for the day. On my off days, I like to sleep in a little later then get my workout in around dinner time. As for sleep, I have never…

Thanks, I will definitely need to try that one.

Pama pomegranate liqueur, a little vodka and a Sprite zero. OMG those are so delish!!

Ok, you Scots and Irish, you aren't in a special club now. I get the same way and I sweat like it's going out of style. My shirts are usually soaked down during a session at my boot camp. My blood pressure is just fine, it has been checked and is better than it has ever been. I'm mexican with olive skin so I turn…

I had the same thing happen to me when I started cycling. My right leg was getting skinnier than my left leg so much that it looked like a shark took a huge bite out of the front of it. It was pretty funny looking when I wore my shorts. lol

I gained my weight back when I started eating my exercise calories. Went back to staying under my exercise calories and less than the original recommended and lost my 7 lbs in 3 weeks.

Try the shelled nuts for a snack. With those, you have to work to get the nuts out and I find I don't eat as many because of that. I used to have the same problem and did a drastic move to stop myself from eating like that. If I had a craving for food, I would eat items with salt and vinegar. Of course, after you eat…
