Oooooooooooooookay! By, the way, on the other hand, I agree 100% with your other post. I am confused as to why people feel that friends on MFP are such a big deal, and to actually get upset when you are deleted. I have other websites for that. Maybe I am just new to this and don't understand the stigma around being "MFP…

You're right, what she said IS NOT ebonics. Nor was I saying it was. That is just how you interpreted my sentence. .....I said it was LIKE ebonics. By "like ebonics", I am comparing it to such because her post was tough for me to understand like ebonics is tough for me to understand. I didn't say it WAS ebonics. I am not…

I too did not realize how much sodium was in my lunch meat. Wow! I am on the hunt for lower sodium meats myself.

bump. I am interested in this, too. I am 5 lbs from goal weight, then I will be trying to tone up like cuh-razyyy! :)
-
Agreed! It was like ebonics. I had to read the sentences over and over again, and at an unnatural pace to even begin to understand. I am STILL not sure I understand what the heck she's talking about!

.......right?! I don't understand this. Why is it such a big deal to have MFP friends or to care whether or not they are active? I didn't realize it was such a big deal to be on, or be friends on MFP. So I certainly don't understand why deleting or not being "social" enough is an issue that someone will actually worry…

I am losing slowly, too. I've been doing this for 10 days shy of two months and I've lost 6.7 lbs. I am not trying to lose a ton of weight, though.. so it's ok if I lose slowly. But it is frustrating to see the scale not move an ounce for 2 weeks. Last week I was at my wits end because the scale hadn't moved for 2 weeks.…

I don't have kids, but I have a husband =;P I work out soon after I get home. Then he gets home and starts his workout and whichever one is done first, starts dinner. Now, he worked late yesterday so dinner wasn't until 8pm which upset me.. so I need to start getting up in the AM to at least do my cardio. I'd suggest…

Wow! Such a great transformation! Great Work, you look fab!! :)

My hubby is doing Power 90. He has an account here so I'll tell him about your blog. He likes it and just started level 2. He said Level 2 kicks his butt. :)

Thank you for the tips! Yes, my sodium is a little high on occasions because we are still weeding out some of those pesky prepared type meals that we used to love to eat, which we have some left in our pantry still. Once in a while we have one, but they are almost gone :) Just last night I was telling hubby about the…

I have found that to be the case with most machines.. but my elliptical at home likes to tell me I burn less than 100 calories for doing 3 miles on an interval course! HA! As if I believe that.

I have heard most about the Polar FT4. This is what I recently got my hubby for his birthday (he won't get it for another week, though! I almost bought him a Pyle because it was cheap and I had already spent a bunch of $$ on other stuff, but then I did a little research and everything pointed to the FT4. I am not familiar…

Thanks again. I really appreciate you taking the time to lay it all out for me. It really does help. I am going to save all you have written to a word doc and put into my fitness folder so I can reference it going forward. I adjusted my MFP goals to try and meet what you are telling me. I can't get the numbers exact since…

I have sleepy time tea every night a little before bed. I also like chamomile. That's all I've really tried :)

Please note that I lost a good portion of my past diary because I changed the settings. And I do not claim to be making perfect decisions about food but I am really trying. Veggies, fruits and snacks that are at least decent choices. I am not trying to eat 100% clean or perfect, but I am trying to eat much better and make…

I am adding peanuts and PB to my diet as of yesterday. Probably not every day, but many days a week. Good fats and calories. :) I was wondering about my carbs, whether I was eating too many. But on my diary it doesn't show that I am over my goal really, or close to it much of the time.

Then I should eat about 1350-1375 calories. That's not too scary. I am literally afraid to eat too many more calories. And, what is "TDEE"? I've seen it a few times today and am not familiar with that term. Maybe "Total Daily Expended Energy"? haha, totally a shot in the dark! And not sure about the deficit compared to the…

It actually has 2g of sugar per 2tbsp serving :)

+1! I really hope the OP ignores his post and listens to the rest, as well as all the others throughout MFP. Advice like he gave could cause someone so many problems!

LOVE it :)

Wow! Strut your stuff in that bikini because you look AWESOME! Don't fret, I think you should show off your beautiful new figure at the beach! :) :)
-
I do. But that may change this summer since we spend more time with friends and boating.

I have a Sams Club membership. There are a couple more things I want to check to see if they have (such as vanilla almond milk) so I will try this weekend :) Thanks so much!
-
Definitely try protein shakes! I ordered Designer Whey Women Aria (protein is only 14g) so you may want something higher like Optimum Nutrition stuff that has 24g. That's what my hubby has and he loves it in Extreme Milk Chocolate :)

This is different than 90% of the posts on here.. and testimonials from those who hit plateaus, and ate more calories and lost weight. Not saying you are wrong, but this is just different from everything I've learned today from my recent post asking about what I am doing wrong. Most say that I am eating too little calories.
-
It may work, because everyone's telling me to eat more, too. I'm trying as of today! Good Luck! :)

Under the "My Home" tab, click "Goals" at the top. Click "Change Goals", Select "Custom" and push "Continue". Tadaaaaaa...... But MFP calculated everything for you taking into consideration your caloric burn without activity and all that jazz. I believe it's pretty accurate :)

I haven't exactly been, either. I've done it every day. No rest days. And I have only been doing the lower body with the exception of the first few days because I hurt me arm so lifting weights and holding myself up isn't exactly an option until it heals. I love the workouts, so I don't mind doing them every day. It was…
