I posted this on the Runners club thread too-I am looking for as much feedback as I can get! Ran my longest run Sunday-11 miles. During my run my left foot really hurt...I've been experiencing some cramping recently that I chalked up to Plantar facititis but this now seems different It did it again today during my run-only…

I've tried both ways....if you don't want the extra fat from the oil-put it under the cheese to keep it moist--on top raw, it can dry out.
-
I just use what's in MFP - it's worked so that's where I am.

got 5 glasses of water in yesterday-7 if I count crystal light. I need to keep water in front of me too-on my way to fill it up!
-
I eat way more now than when I weighed 90 pounds more....I just eat WAY better stuff!
-
I am very impressed with you guys getting those ratios down....I am usually close but never perfect! That's impressive!
-
Hoping to sneak in 2 or 3 miles at lunch...2 miles is what's on the training plan but 2 miles just seems like not enough anymore! We'll see what time allows. I like to have Stoneyfield organic Yogurt and peaches before a run but I am out of the yogurt right now. The sugar really does help. I'll have to try some of the…

I never think to get protein shakes...need to have some on hand. Be great after long runs. We're a quiet bunch today! Sorry I have been absolutely crazy with work for past 3 weeks - had hoped it would calm down but no hope of that yet.
-
Got 8 oz down - will work on it during and after strength class too...have to go pick up kiddo from baseball try-outs.
-
I read it-I eat meat and don't plan on changing that....did have some good info but I probably can find another source for the same info!
-
Just glanced thru posts and realized I am so lacking water....AGAIN---going to chug 16 oz!
-
I am wiped day of the run but not day after....I did 11 miles yesterday and I feel pretty darn good today. Are you eating before/after the long runs? I'm also sipping a couple ounces of gatorade while I run and I ate some energy jelly bellies....ate 4 beans at 5 miles and 4 more at 7 then treated myself to a mocha latte…

Bump-will check back later

11 mile outside run yesterday-it was an awesome feeling to finish although at times I thought I was dying! Strength day today. Happy Monday!
-
Debnu-I've always been told it's ok to exercise if its your neck up but not when you've got the chest crud like that - rest and get better.....you'll be fine as long as you are eating right!
-
ellipse-sounds perfect!
-
I prefer just let it keep rolling!!!
-
I wander...Braves first - it's out most local team then Phillies and Red Sox My daughter has a Tshirt she got at Fenway....it says..... I route for two teams the Red Sox and whoever beats the Yankees......( )

WHAT!!! Chocolate Cheerios...gotta find those...........
-
I like all those sugary ones too...fruity pebbles, cocoa pebbles, Lucky Charms.... MultiGrain Cheerios, Frosted Mini Wheats, needless to say I don't eat cereal much either!
-
I agree with the reading up that Boss posted...but I also agree with hamilton if you're only working 20 minutes a day and that's what you've been doing, it's time to up it....the closer you are to your goal the harder you have to work for it!
-
Exercise is a normalcy for me anymore....water and no sugar - that's a challenge! I'd rather not have a new thread everyday-maybe once a wekk....but I'll do whatever.
-
Still not getting in enough water. Did great on calories and ran 5 miles yesterday....today is 4 mile run Sunday will be 11 mile run-supposed to be high 50s - I will be able to run without 15 thousand layers on!
-
Actually she's a victorian bully....she's absolutely precious!

I am training for my first half on 3/21. I am up to 10 miles so far (until this weekend where I'll do 11)....I've used a program off of the smart coach on runnersworld.com. I liked it better than the hal higdon program simply because it gives me times to shoot for that are based off a run I've done. I need goals!

I've found those "last 10 are killer" but i am trying for another last 10! I don't like in Atlanta - it's actually about 3.5 hours from me but that's the half I chose - hoping for a little better weather than March in W NC can bring. We should at least meet up at the run and say hi!!!
-
Amydoesit-that's the same 1/2 I am doing - ING in Atlanta!!! It's my first. I did 10 miles Sat - my longest run to date...this weekend will be 11.
-
Bella - I typically do eat most of my exercise calories...I didn't yesterday but believe me I ate plenty the day before! I try to be sure I never go below 1200 as my net (net being total of what I ate less what I burned in exercise)--not always there but I try. If I go below that I really don't feel good and I can't stay…

Deb-feel better, good luck with the bidding jess-let us know what doc says. 5 mile run last night - felt really good! It was a very enjoyable run.
