Yep-not so sure if our flight will even leave the ground!

Jess - sounds like a massage is in order..........or at the least a hot bath!

good stuff!

Is it related? When your Mom had breast cancer did she have lumpectomy or mastectomy? How many years ago? I am full of questions being a survivor myself. I was diagnosed at 34 and had bi-lateral mastectomy-now a 4 year survivor. She's strong - she's a fighter - she will overcome this obstacle as she did the last!

Guys I am trying so hard to get to a loss for our weigh in BUT I can't weigh in again til the 15th - I won't have access to a scale on Monday - I'll be in Baltimore (subject to my flight getting there Sunday) Did my hour strength class came home and did P90X CardioX - nice burn!
-
yes it's still the same diagnosis - that's where I was confused and we don't see the doc for a month so I was hoping to get some sort of idea of what it was - and you've done that ---thanks!

Be careful with that - your body needs recovery time as much as it needs the exercise!
-
I usually log like a tablespoon or two of the marinade...it all adds up!
-
I typically take 1 or 2 days off after my long runs but since I did my long run yesterday that's not happening. I'll be doing strength 1hr and about 20 minutes on elliptical this evening. Got dinner in the crock pot so family can eat without me....if you haven't tried the slow cookin pulled chicken recipe posted here…

I think it was a CT scan.

Silly question....my mom got the results of ber brain scan and there's no abnormalities...we won't see her neurologist again til March - should I call them and ask what that means or do any of you know?!?!

I honestly feel like real ice in a baggy is better than an ointment ice treatment....I have Biofreeze and I only use it when I can't ice. Ice is cheap too! Taradise-way to listen to your body-I've had to stop before too! Make sure you're getting enough variety of foods too - if you're lacking in protein or not enough…
-
Did you buy them fresh or frozen?

I have 3 Komen events planned..... The 5k Atlanta, 5k Charlotte and the 3 day 60 mile walk in Atlanta! I REALLY hope I can work out our schedules!
-
smadag-keep icing each night
-
I completed a 9 mile run yesterday with the 1/2 mile warmup and cooldown - that was a 10 mile day!!!! I love it when I go to the next distance...feels really good! Well emotionally feels really good but my hips are a tad sore!
-
debnu-it may sound silly but I have a Phiten Titanium Necklace ( it's the 3x or 30 something like that)....I swear when my next is stiff it really helps. I agree with extra warm up and be aware when you are working out that your shoulders are relaxed. I am in for the massage too! I am a little sore today...I ran my long…

or weigh, weighed and weight
-
Both - switch it up. I do strength 2 times a week and cardio 4 days a week....I'd love to add a strength day but right now I am training for a Half Marathon and need to get my mileage in.
-
All of us who are doing the Komen 5k in Altanta should all try to meet--that would be cool!
-
C25k is how I got started running also. I hope to be there too!
-
I have missed the past two weeks - but I am there tonight!!!!
-
I have the Polar F6 bought from amazon - may be cheaper now since the 7 is out!
-
No, No, no - don't go lower...are you eating more when you exercise? How long have you been at 1200? You may be way too low.
-
I use the naturally more too - it's almost like a less sweet version of a crunchy pnut butter with the flax in it...it's very peanutty. mmmmm.
-
You're getting the cardio benefits by keeping your heart rate up for over 20 minutes....keep it up!
-
very good info there.

I will tell my husband that it's a new rule no candy just jewels....love the idea!

I usually ice when I settle down to watch TV (could be several hours after I workout/run) - I just leave it on 20-30 minutes....it really helps me when I've run especially...it's really funny after a run-I'll ice the knees, my heel (spur) my calves and my shins....BUT I feel SO much better the next morning and the next…
