After 18 years together, I FINALLY weigh less than dh!! Right now I'm about 2 pounds lighter than him, but I'd like to lose another 10-15. He's abut 5'11" and 178 lbs, so he's a healthy weight.
-
Well, no chance I'm going to make my goal this month, but I'll keep plugging away anyway. 11 miles for me this week, putting my new total at 31.5.
-
I don't have a HRM, but I have noticed that MFP and the treadmill at the gym are almost exaclty spot-on with each other.

Are you in Canada? What is the imperial equivalent of the 5K, or is it just called a 5K in the States as well?

It's been a slow month for me, way too much going on, so I'm not getting out as often as I would like. This week I did a total of 11.5, putting my total for the month at 20.5. I checked the spreadsheet, and it seems that I have been confusing you in my check-ins. I usually just post my ticker, so from now on I'll be sure…

I love to cook up a pound of skinless, boneless chicken, or extra lean ground beef, fried up with some garlic, onions, salt, pepper, etc., to taste, then toss in a bottle of salsa. Then I scoop 1/4 of this on top of chopped greens, cucumber, peppers, and so on. Soooo yummy with the hot/cold combination, and I just keep the…

Man, I'm having a really bad start to this month! Only 9/65 so far!! Oops!
-
Nope, sorry, but you were out of line. The rest of your life is going to be about practicing self-control...might as well get started now! Not sure how you can fix this with the ladies now, though... ETA I'm a bit surprised that no one has mentioned your comment about how many of the women have their own weight problems…

Hmm, somehow my last 3 miles got missed at the end of November. I did finish my full 75 mile goal, posted my ticker in the thread, but I guess it was overlooked. Oh well... :( Forgot to check in last week, but I did 3.5 miles on Saturday. Only another 5.5 miles so far this week...off to a slow start this month!
-
Yay, ran 3 miles to hit my goal today!
-
I'll sign up for 65 this month. I did 75 in November, and just barely made it, so with snow and holidays, I think it's more realistic to aim for 65. :)
-
Yahoo, DS had a two hour hockey game this morning, so that gave me time for a 9 mile run, bringing me within spitting distance of my month-end goal. Yay me!!! 15.9 miles this week, for a total so far of 72 miles.
-
Well, I'm just barely on target to meet my 75 mile goal for this month, and I don't know if it's realistic to do 75 over the month of December, when my schedule will be so mixed up. Think I might have to drop it to 60 miles for December... :)
-
Yay, I'm keeping on target! Here's my total:
-
Not sure where we're supposed to do the weekly check-in now, in this thread or over in the group, but here's my total so far...
-
Yay, half-way through the month today, and I just squeaked past the half-way point to my goal!
-
Testing to see if I can post my ticker here... Yep! Hooray! :)
-
I have run two, first was 2:11:11, second was 2:18:??. Hoping to run a full marathon in April, and since I'll be about 40+ pounds lighter than when I ran these halfs, I'm hoping to finish between 4:15 and 4:30.
-
28.8 miles as of this morning. Hmm, that puts me at 10 miles under the half-way point, 3 days before half-way through the month. I guess I'm keeping on track fairly decently then...
-
Child with a bad case of the croup...had to skip today's run. :o(
-
Did a short 1.3 miles on Thursday, missed Friday, and ran 4 miles today, for a first week total of 11.5 miles. Will have to pick that up a lot to get my 75 miles in for the month!
-
Am I too late to join? I'd like to sign up for 75 miles in November...hopefully I can keep the numbers straight when converting from metric! I did 3.1 miles (5km) this morning, so you can set me up with that on the graph. Thanks!
-
It's actually just very basic math... a one pound equals about 3500 calories burned in excess of calories consumed, so MFP just calculates how many pounds you would lose in five weeks if you consumed/burned calories at the same ratio every day, KWIM? So as long as you are not "cheating" on your tracking, it really should…

Cottage cheese with fresh berries! I started eating this because I really needed to up my protein, but I wasn't too keen on the cottage cheese, so I sprinkled a bit of sugar or sweetener on top. Now I LOVE it and eat it straight out of the carton with no sweetener. Yum! I eat 1/2 cup of 2% cottage cheese (you can get 4% in…

Amazing job, Lloyd! WTG!
