I just did L3 today for the first time. Jillian didn't seem as annoying and in your face as she did on the first 2 levels. Of course it still kicked my bootie!

New sneakers are the BEST! I love when I get a new pair and I feel like I can light the world on fire. Who knew a pair of shoes that isn't high heels could make us so happy :-)

I love how my biceps look and I can't stop flexing. It's so encouraging to see my muscles!!!

I agree that you might need new shoes. Not all running shoes are made the same. If I wear Nikes my knees are killing me after a few weeks so I switched to Adidas and I don't have any more issues until they are worn out and need to be replaced.

You look lovely and the green is a great color on you! Great job!

I only have 2 friends and could use the support!

What a great way to celebrate your birthday...doing something good for yourself! :flowerforyou:

You look amazing! Way to go!!!

It is a hard life but I'm so proud of what my husband does! Thanks for saying Thank you. It means a lot!
-
Way to go! You should be really proud of yourself!
-
Wow! You look great!

I've been doing the same thing because I don't know any other way to log it.

I haven't used the diet plan yet, I feel like I eat pretty healthy on my own. I did level 1 until I wasn't feeling sore I couldn't walk and that took about 5 days. I'm going to do the same thing with level 2 but I think that might take closer to 7 days.

I'm on L2D10 and I can really see a difference, especially in my arms and shoulders. Level 2 has been a killer and I dread those stupid frog push ups! Those are totally insane!!
-
I use olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dijon mustard and salt and pepper.

Wow! You look amazing!!!!!

I'm so excited to find a group doing Ripped in 30 instead of 30 Day Shred! I'm on Level 2 Day 2 and right now I'm trying to muster up the courage to go do it..... Jillian is kicking my butt! I hope by the end of the week I will be able to do the moves with out modifying but it might just be wishful thinking!
-
I'm using Ripped in 30 instead of the 30 day Shred but it's basically the same thing. Is any one else using that one? For this series she lets you move to the next level when you are ready so I'm L2D8 and I'm scared to do it again. She is kicking my tail!:ohwell:

I hung the pair of pants I wanted to fit back into on the wall in my bathroom. Sounds weird but it motivates me every time I get out of the shower. I also have a friend who hung a picture of herself 20lbs lighter inside her pantry so she wouldn't be tempted to grab more food. Good luck!

Maybe if you told yourself you aren't there to make friends but get in shape and loose weight you could work up the courage to go. I bet once you go to one class you would be able to go to more and eventually find a work out buddy!
-
I'm a military wife too and I know how hard it is to move around and make new friends. At my gym they have people who help you get comfortable in a class by helping set up your weights or any other equipment you might need. Or have you thought about hiring a trainer?

Day 5 L1 down today is D6 L1. It's nice that it keeps getting easier!
-
Is anyone following her menu too?
-
When you start a new round do you start with week 1 Level 1 again?
-
WOW! Way to go! You should be so darn proud of yourself!!!!!

I would love to join in! I just got my dvd in the mail this morning and did Level 1 day 1 today. My legs feel like spaghetti noodles.

You could try doing it with out any weights just your body weight. I had to drop my weights half way through a set and use my body weight. If it isn't real pain keep going. Think how proud you will feel when it starts to get easier for you!
