I've got some recipes on my blog(eattolivelivetorun.wordpress.com) from when I did my Whole30 in November that you are welcome to look at. Also the Practical Paleo cookbook is awesome, but not everything in it is Whole30 approved ... most is though. It also includes a 30 day meal plan. Emeals.com has a Paleo plan that…

I am starting Whole30 on January 2nd. I did one in November and it was wonderful, but I've been finding myself seriously slipping the last couple of weeks.

Good luck on your Whole30! I just finished mine on December 4th and am looking forward to doing another one in the near future. Might do it again for the New Year. I had good results, and my husband had amazing results. I made a list of grocery items on my blog that were my staples on my Whole30, hope this helps you ... At…

I like the SmartCoach plan on Runner's World also. I used Hal Higdon's plan for my first several halfs, but lately I've started using Runner's World. I like that you can customize it a little bit and I like to run on less days per week because I also do CrossFit and yoga. Running about 4 days a week (typically 2 easy runs,…

I run typically 4 days a week usually hitting 30-35 miles. I normally do 2 easy runs, a speedwork run (alternate tempo/intervals) and one long run.

You are welcome to look at my blog for ideas if you would like, I'm currently a Paleo eater but I have all kinds of recipes on there. I do love to cook though ... eattolivelivetorun.wordpress.com

I'm logging my food just for the sake of being accountable of what I eat, but not necessarily for calorie counting purposes. If that makes sense. I have a binge eating problem, so logging helps me in that way, but it is interesting to see what I come up with calorie and macro-wise eating Paleo.

I really thought I would love Well Fed based on everyone else's recommendations, but honestly I haven't thought the recipes I made tasted very good. I have preferred the recipes from Practical Paleo.

I'm at work so I can't post pics right now, but I have a ton of Paleo food pics on my blog if anyone cares to take a look. Most of them have recipes as well. www.eattolivelivetorun.wordpress.com

I started Whole30 on Monday, so I'm on day 3. So far so good! Very strange for me because I went from being a vegetarian to Paleo. Cooking and eating meat has been very unusual for me as its been 3 years since I've done so. Some of the advice that I have gotten is find meals you like and make them over and over again. That…

I honestly don't understand the "CrossFit is dangerous". I've seen this statement more than once now and totally don't get it. I have only been doing CrossFit for a month but I have been taught many modifications, scaling of weight, and proper form has been highly re-iterated. Our trainers stop us dead in our tracks if…

I started CrossFit almost a month ago and I absolutely love it. Some stuff is major scary for me like the box jumps, but I have been very impressed with the trainers that have helped me make modifications where I needed to. I've also met a whole new network of motivating people. I just started Paleo this past week as a…

http://www.halhigdon.com/training/51131/Half-Marathon-Novice-1-Training-Program If you are not already a runner you may want to start with the Couch to 5K training plan. If you are already a runner the above link is a good starting place for a training plan. Either way it won't take you a year to be able to run a half…

The one song that makes me run crazy fast is Nickelback - Burn it to the Ground.

I do Hot Yoga also, I started 10 months ago and I go 3-4 times a week. Love it!

I've been running for a little more than 3 years. I started at 250 pounds doing Couch to 5K. I couldn't run for 2 straight minutes when I started. I have now run 2 marathons, 12 half marathons, etc. One of my marathon was sub 4 hours and my half PR is 1:42. On average I run about 30-40 miles per week. Fitness level: Still…

Honestly if you have the mental toughness to do the training, the marathon will be no big deal mentally. But whatever you do, do not try to calculate in your mind how much longer you have to run. I was all excited at mile 20 of my 2nd marathon when I only had "a 10K" left ... and then I realized that 10K would take me…

I'm a clean-eater/ pescatarian ... feel free to add me as well. My diary is open to friends.

I almost always eat the majority of my exercise calories back, my way of thinking is that this is my lifestyle now and I don't want to live feeling deprived. Eating back my exercise calories allows me to feel comfortably satisfied and not deprived. My focus now is still on losing, but not the urgency to lose as fast as…

I never wear makeup to the gym. I see no point.

I am a pescatarian, mostly vegetarian after seeing Forks Over Knives and Food Inc. I have also read a few books about the subject. I particularly liked Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer. I was vegetarian for approximately a year and then decided to add fish by into my diet for convenience when eating at restaurants. I…

Edamame, greek yogurt, beans, eggs, hummus, protein powder shakes, nut butters.

I don't always eat all of them back, but I eat a good portion of them. I try to eat by hunger cues when deciding about exercise calories. Some days I exercise a little, some days I rest and some days I exercise for 3 hours ... so I try to make it all come out even over the week by borrowing calories from one day to the…

I'm in too.

I'm a pescatarian, but mostly vegetarian and I eat mostly clean. You're welcome to add me and check out my diary.

Yep, I wore my HR monitor to Hot Yoga too and only burned less than 200 calories in 90 minutes. The absolute most I've ever burned in a 90 minute class was 300. I see some people posting crazy crazy numbers for cals burned, like over 1500 for 60-90 minutes. I think sometimes people think that amount of sweat produced…
