Been on keto almost 3 years. Successfully have kept the weight off the entire time. Lately been trying to lean out a bit more and add lean mass to my frame by strength training. Been logging in the past month and religiously tracking my calories and macros.

authentic Mexican food is inherently keto. just have to avoid the tortillas, rice, and go easy on the refried beans. Other than that, just load up on extra cheese and avocados :)

I usually stall when I eat too much protein. I was always at a slight deficit but I was eating wayyyyy too much protein about 180g. Without exercise, I was supposed to be eating about .06-.08g protein per lean body mass so I adjusted to around 100g daily and I started losing again.

people back in the day were eating everything with butter and lard and they weren't dying left and right from heart disease and diabetes. it wasn't until sugar and all these processed carbohydrates were introduced that people started keeling over.
