Oh nope. I will send it back and get a new one or send it back and get it taken off my bill. I refuse to pay for food that is awful.

I really wanted to comment on this and didn't want to wait while I was off work (but I'm really busy at work and shouldn't be on here but whatevs.... It is currently 8:25 my time and I am sure many others have already responded given how fast this thread moves. I was a previous newbie and still quite a newbie to forums in…

Helpful tip. Keep this thread open on your computer to where you left off and open a separate tab to log your food (or log your food in your app). That way you never lose your place!

Confession: Standing in line at Starbuckies just now and a rough looking gentleman was in front of me with the shopping tags still on his pants. I debated about saying anything because i thought it was funny. But then thought if I did something like that, I would want to be told. So I told him. I wish I didn't because he…

You also hit the nail on the head

Thank you. You hit the nail on the head with your explanation.

I shouldn't have looked. That is DISGUSTING. I was thinking it was more like the bubbles in the Aero bars

at least your aunt had the sense to go take her to get her head checked out. It would have been so much worse for your aunt if she didn't. There was nothing more your aunt could have done.

at least you hit the weights! :)

I think this thread fits into the General Diet and Weight Loss Help category. A lot of people get hung up on following the rules and this thread "helps" them understand that it is okay to have a bad day. Losing weight is very much psychological and to have a place to openly discuss the struggles of losing weight is very…

I'm too busy reading this thread to read the negative comments about our thread posted by others  who has time to read those other threads anyways! Here is where it is at! Eta: I posted this before I saw the talk about the stickies and the group. I joined the group but I still like this thread. I hope we don't…

I read this as Lyrica (medication) not Lycra. I still have work on the brain. I've worked through 3 out of 4 lunches this week. I need to get back in the gym . I have at least 7 or 8 letters I need to write tomorrow and am not liking it. Work sucks.

my husband hates bees & wasps too. One time we were stopped in traffic in a construction zone and a wasp flew into the car. He screamed like a girl jumped out and ran around the car. Nothing is as funny as seeing a grown 7'2' dude run around a car in traffic because of a flying insect (I was mildly embarrassed because…

Is is funny b/c it is so true!! I also hate (and I am not sure if I have posted this here or in the "Things That Make You Irrationally Angry" thread when there are multiple open stalls and you give yourself some space and someone take the stall right beside you. Okay, this just downright pisses me of when people do this.

I've heard the same thing too. I don't understand how they can drop the storyline when we don't even know what GRRM is going to do with it yet. How do we (or HBO) know that it might be a key turning point in the novels that may change the tide of the impending wars?

I am so sorry

Your degu is not just rodent. A pet is a pet and you love them no matter what. I am so sorry for what you are going through.

Confession: When I am at work and have to go #2, I take my phone with me so I can't read this thread

For the past several years hubby and I were getting out of debt and accumulating savings so shopping for unnecessary items was a no no. My shoe collection consists of two pairs of casual sneakers, one pair of outdoor gym shoes, one pair of indoor gym shoes, one pair of winter boots, one pair of water shoes, one pair of…

Finally caught up. @Susieq_1994 I could tell from your posts that you have been feeling better and I am happy for you. When was in junior high school and high school, I used to write poetry to help get through my adolescence. After high school I started journaling and found that helpful. Thank you for sharing your poem. It…

an artist did this kind of social experiment. Several women met each other in a studio waiting to be sketched. Without meeting the women before hand, the artist would then sit behind a curtain and ask each individual woman to describe herself (Without seeing the subject in person), the artist would sketch a portrait of the…

I am trying not to own pages but am still just under 20 pages behind. BLASPHEMY !!!! the TV show is a disservice to the novels!! all TV renditions of books are. I refused to read Harry Potter but I had to read the first one as required reading for a Children's Lit class I took in University. I finished the entire series in…

at least you count them! (I don't... most of the time)

all I can say is "wow". :anguished:

I wanted to throw my two cents in re GoT. I loved the books and the series does not do it justice. I refused to watch the series for three seasons but then hubby (who hasn't read the books) said it was time. I am livid that story lines are being left out and, in the case of this season, are being changed all together. But…

Confession (though I don't keep it from anyone). I left my high school sweetheart after six years together. We owned a house (I was young, 21 at the time). I left him for my boss. The boss man and I dated for two months and he proposed (he then had to fire me) but got me a job elsewhere). We married a year later to the day…

I am almost two days behind but had to comment. This is awesome!!! I hope you washed them afterward

When my husband and I started dating he was living in his mom's basement (he had moved back in to help after his father passed). I had stayed the night and in the morning he went upstairs to the bathroom and just let one rip. The sound travels down through the duct work. I could hear his mom ask him "don't you think she…
