I just did my first this last weekend. Yay! No one told me to eat a banana before the race so I wouldn't get cramps. :noway: Also, if there's post race beer, take it easy. I speak from experience. That's my best advice.

And don't they say you should drink half of your weight in ounces? So I'm 183. I should be drinking 91.5 ounces/8= round up to 12 glasses a day. If I don't exercise. How much extra are you supposed to drink if you exercise? Sigh. Does coffee count? It is made with water.
