Hi there everybody. My name is Lil, I'm 35, Irish, and a FTM. I used to use MFP a few years ago and managed to lose over 30lb by eating lower carb and using Just Dance on the wii. I looked and felt the best I'd ever felt in my life but unfortunately, I got lazy and eventually gained it all back. I'd just started to get…

My upper stomach. Before, it was all round like a half circle but now there's an indentation where my rib cage ends and a line down the middle...looks kinda like a soft 6 pack made outta fat! Lol

You look fabulous and have such a pretty face! Well, well done :)

An automobile tyre and the baby back ribs here. Gotta say, this is quite possibly the best post title I've ever seen, btw...love it :-)

Help! I followed the instructions to the letter but 2.5 minutes into the cooking time I had to take a phone call; when I came back, the pot was empty. What did I do wrong???!!!!!!!1

Hi Laura :) I've been using the striiv app for a while now and although I love it (it really has motivated me) to be honest, I don't think it's 100% accurate with the calories burned thing. It also doesn't sync right with mfp for me sometimes, so I just manually add how many minutes I walked into mfp. I definitely think…

Ooh, this I gotta try! Thanks for sharing, demonlullaby, and thanks to whoever the original poster was :-)

I'm enjoying using my wii to help get in shape. I don't really use wii fit, but I've got My Fitness Coach Cardio (the uk/Ireland version of Gold's Gym) and the 4 main Just Dance titles - it's not going to replace gym equipment, but don't let anyone tell you it doesn't raise your heart rate! After a good session with Just…

Thanks for this...I've been trying hard to get a good oatmeal cookie recipe and have had more than a few disasters, so this is excellent :-)

Ooh, add me! I love striiv and it'd be great to have more friends :-) (email removed by staff)

Well done! Quitting is such a hard thing to do, but so rewarding long term. It'll be two years smoke free for me in September...I tried cold turkey, patches, gum, lozenges and even the drug champix, but none of them worked. The only thing that helped me was e-cigarettes...a truly fabulous device. I went from 30-40…

Another 5'0" here, anyone feel free to add me...although I've been using mfp for a while, I've mostly been a lurker on the forums so I don't know how to add people yet! You've done a great job on the weight loss so far, and I know exactly what you mean about the patience thing...this is the first time I've seriously tried…

No problem Donna, glad to help...and as it happens, beef olives are I'm having for dinner tonight! Lol
-
Don't listen to the negative comments and pay no attention to the folk who say nothing...you know you're looking good and you know you're feeling better and that's all that matters. You look great, kmc...well done you :-D

There's a noticable difference in you...well done :-)

Had to do some dreaded maths, but each one is approx. 94g raw weight.

My mum makes beef olives with M&S minute steaks and M&S 97% pork chipolata sausages. They work out at 162 calories each roughly, not including the gravy and spuds!

Firstly, congrats on the weight loss! It's very possible to have a yeast problem there...I've found you can get it anywhere the skin kinda flumps together. I've used cream for athlete's foot and canisten cream to clear that sorta thing up before, although it was my arm pit, not belly button (tmi?). Good luck :)

Hi Lap. I'm no expert by any means - I've only recently really started to try getting my weight under control - but could it be that you're not eating enough? I've read tons about how not eating enough is counterproductive to weight loss, and when I increased what I ate, the scales started moving again, albeit slowly. I…

Yay you! There's definitely a big change in you...and the most noticeable thing is your beautiful smile in the second pic!
-
Well done trudijoy, yay you, that's a great achievement! I'll bet you're really happy with what you've managed so far, as you should be! You've given me a little hope that one day I can fit into my goal jeans too :)
-
Agree completely...I only got a Facebook account because so many apps require it for registration.

I like most vegetables, but I can't stand sweet potatoes (instant heartburn), celery (tastes like dirt) or cooked carrots...they've gotta be heavily disguised with beefy gravy before I can stand 'em.

Beautiful, mysterious eyes and I love your eyebrows!

Me! I hate my neighbour because I strongly suspect he killed some of my cats. We live out in the country, surrounded by farms and a river, so plenty of mice and rats in the vicinity - where there's rats, there's cats. Now, we have a few kitties - 10, currently - and they're all neutered, and totally pampered - most of the…

The forum post address is: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/922275-new-30-day-shred-group-starting-3-25-13 But I can't seem to open the page...it just directs me to the front of the message boards. I'm fairly new to these forums, but could it be a closed group?

Thanks for pointing me towards the shred, folks! Just completed L1D3 and my legs are definitely not hurting as much as yesterday. 30DS is tough going for someone like me who's never done anything like it before, but already I'm starting to see a difference...I managed 6 almost-push ups today before going for wall push ups,…

LOVE this thread...it really is awesome to see how you all have progressed through hard work and eating right. As so many others have said, it's so motivational for folk just starting their journey (like me). Keep it up guys, you all rock!
