I can remember enforcing Blue Laws in the '80s in Michigan, when I worked as a clerk in my uncle's 7-11 store. Every night at 2:00 a.m., the beer coolers had to be locked up until the next morning. Monday through Saturday, you could start selling alcohol at 7:00 a.m., I believe. But on Sundays, you couldn't sell until…

Believe it or not, I use another site to track my food intake because I think it has some better tools. But I like the message boards, advice, and support that I get here.

In the U.S., everyone can be called a "dude." :flowerforyou: Besides the fact that we omit the "u" in words like flavor, color, and honor, that's the primary difference between U.S. English and British English. [Okay, now you should really hear the sarcasm coming through!]

This!

Dude, I'm not 7. I know that. That's why I put the laughing emoticon [] after what I said. I was being a total smart@**.
-
There's a "u" in "color"?!?!?

D-Backs! D-Backs! D-Backs! Get used to it. The Snakes are going to be hot again this year!

You must have a pretty good voice, then. To me, that song seems like it would be hard to sing.

The real question you seem to be asking is, "Why am I insecure in my relationship?" Only you can answer that question. I suggest that you examine the reasons why you fear being abandoned or rejected. You would probably admit that your fear is somewhat irrational. After all, you just said that your boyfriend has "found…

The Love Boat theme. It's pretty easy to sing, actually.

I had a teacher who used to say that if someone swears often, it means that they have a small vocabulary. What a load of crap!

But you're talking about a precise day of the year. What the other person was saying is that fewer people are born on the 31st day of the month -- any month -- than on any other day of the month. And that's because only seven of the 12 months have a 31st day.

Um...wow.

I'd really like to retire the word "haters." It's getting old. Yes, I know that makes me a hater, but whatever. :grumble:
-
Yeah, I don't get it, either. :grumble:
-
Now that's what I call a cheap date!

Let me also add that, here in Arizona, we have an almost pathological fear of skin cancer because we live approximately 5 miles from the sun (give or take). That is all.
-
I'm not really a fan of the skin cancer. So, no.

However Top Shelf makes them is how I like them. For those who don't live in the Valley of the Sun, Top Shelf is a small, local chain of Mexican restaurants, which I believe serves the finest Mexican food on the planet. Their cheese enchiladas are to die for. The tacos are good, too. I like them with ground beef…

Everything you've said in this thread is a double entendre. You realize that, right?

The Tigers have a great lineup this year. They're going to compete for the Central!
-
I'm sure they'll crawl out of the woodwork eventually. :grumble:
-
The Phils do have the best rotation in baseball. Hell, you've got two future Hall-of-Famers on the staff!
-
Fave: Chimichanga. Enough said, right? Least: Sixth. It's hard to say and not have people think you said "six."
-
But Stewie can't spell, either. "Victory will be mine!"

Calorie burns are a funny thing. I burn 2,600 just sitting on my tail at work all day and not exercising (this, according to my BMF). That's my typical burn on most days, and sometimes I take as little as 3,500 steps in a day! I never go below the high 2,500 mark. Maybe it's because I'm overweight?

Done!

Let's agree to disagree. But for the record, I don't share the intimate goings-on of my personal life on FB. Never have, never will.
-
This. See my post above; I feel exactly the same way.

I joined this site three years ago, but really didn't start using it actively until this month. Frankly, I'm a little surprised at how many restrictions people here place on friend requests. I really don't get it. I have about 1,600 friends on Facebook, and basically I accept all friend requests from (1) people I know, and…
