My people! 5'3", high weight (after Christmas) was 146.6, goal weight is 125. I remember being 125, about five years ago... Current weight is 139. Biggest pet peeve is people who look at me and go "no way you're xxx, you're tiny!" No, dude, I'm hauling around a few extra phone books. Body composition is my big thing. I…

If you're looking for something that specific it's called a personal trainer. MFP will set up broad guidelines (calories, fat/protein/carb macros) and if it fits in your macros, honesly, eat it. Set it to lose a pound a week. As far as exercise, if you know what you like, do that 3-5 times a week. If you set your profile…

You can actually add calcium, iron and vitamins under the setup ab. Try tuna, it was almost always on the sandwich bar. You can peel the breading off the chicken. Not the greatest, but a solution. Cottage cheese, is that on your salad bar? Or soup? Check the shoppette, sometimes they'll have tuna in packets, or semi…

In the military. Not a military diet. The military's suggestions are here: http://phc.amedd.army.mil/topics/healthyliving/n/Pages/NutritionHealthTips.aspx Not surprisingly, they recommend choosemyplate.gov and the USDA's Dietary guidelines for Americans. http://www.cnpp.usda.gov/DGAs2010-PolicyDocument.htm Also, this diet…

Skinny Taste White Bean Roasted Garlic soup, hummus and carrots and bell peppers, apple sauce, a small handfull of cherries, string cheese, a blueberry muffin and a hard boiled egg. OK, I define lunch as everything I eat after nine a.m. and before eight p.m :) I brought in chicken and fried rice yesterday, it was awesome!

I actually jumpstarted my whole "eat better idiot" with something that sorta resembled the CSD. My way was lots of soup, fruit, veggies, and chicken, which I also calorie counted. I worked out, too It was great for breaking my candy / sugar cravings, and I lost around three pounds...mostly water :) But as a mental trick,…

This is me. I am the go to baker for all my friends. And I have discovered mug cakes on Pinterest. I am NOT experimenting with them because anything chocolate that is ready in 90 seconds is a thing I do not need to discover.... I am preparing for my own "eat all the things" day. TOM is coming....nooo....

and...complete. Did most of mine on the phone, at work. Thank god for my own office :-p I was doing pushups on the floor at lunch!

1.. I'm a bit messy, but weekly the house is straight. Top to bottom, bathroom scrubbed, etc. I have a roommate and we swap off 2. The dishwasher and Roomba run every day, the dish drainer is emptied every morning. I mop...every other week? Ish? Counters get wiped down daily. Laundry is once a week. My bedroom is a wreck…

Cauliflower leaves are totally edible: http://www.pennilessparenting.com/2012/05/cauliflower-leaf-pakoras-recipe-indian.html?m=1 If you don't want to batter and fry, try slicing the tough ribs out and just sautéing with garlic

Uh, not so much. Will power is finite. http://youarenotsosmart.com/2012/04/17/ego-depletion/ OP, see if you're PMS ing, then check if you can create a new routine around the empty carbs. Why did you take the first bite?.... We all fail occasionally...it's what you do tomorrow that truly counts! I feel you, though. Between…

I love being in command because I'm ALWAYS at the front of the formation. I hate running n the middle, I'm eye level with their armpits, and nose level with their BO...... And it's always my pace :)

Ooh! Apple I know! GorillaLite for a free calensthetics routine every day. JeFit to track your gym stuff. PepperPlate so you can meal plan because I'm a terrible eater when there's no plan. Download the Striiv app and see if you like it. YouTube for free exercise videos, lots of people do 30 day shred off there. Ad I watch…

My Striiv Play is in the mail, but I'm a game nut, so that's totally motivating. I see lots of people who like their fitbit. I'd suggest downloading the apps and playing with them and seeing what you would actually use. And, here are swimming pedometers (strokeometers!?!? Lol) but since I don't normally swim for exercise,…

I'm in! Is there a group so I see these more consistently?

Total daily energy expenditure. Welcome!

My roomie too. I'm just ignoring it. She's spending more time with her friends. Later tonight, I'm sure she'll drive to the theatre while I walk. I'm just not letting it get to me, because I move out on 9 February!

Officially? Twice a week, ish. I like a Saturday a.m. Check in, and one of the groups I'm in weighs on Tuesdays... But I'll jump on the scale in between if I feel skinny :). And I check my perception in the mirror every day.

I've done one half, a few 10k races and more 5ks than I can remember... But unless there's someone to race, I get bored, easily. So four miles? Without wanting to slit my wrists?

You need to read this. Hey, Fat Girl! Yes, you. The one feigning to not see me when we cross paths on the running track. The one not even wearing sports gear, breathing heavy. You’re slow, you breathe hard and your efforts at moving forward make you cringe. You cling shyly to the furthest corridor, sometimes making larger…

Hubs and I aren't living together (thanks work) but I'm working on the tone of his emails...he's trying to be super supportive, but I nearly spit out my chocolate truffle last night when he said he'd been "bad" and made a pan of brownies. Dude, if its in my macros, and I want it, I eat it... But over all he's very…
