My Striiv arrived DOA and hates my iPad...so until I get a new iPhone in a few months, I'm I'm thinking about this http://www.amazon.com/Omron-HJ-112-Digital-Pocket-Pedometer/dp/B0000U1OCI/ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_img_z $25, and less than a minute to add it at the end of the day.

Try hitting the gym enroute. Pack your bag, and go on the way home from work, or at lunch. Depending on your job and workplace, calensthetics at your desk aren't unthinkable. I do squats on the phone and dips off my desk...

4 pounds a month is average...you're "supposed" to only lose about a pound a week. I know what you mean with the cravings. I'll have at least 1-2 days of "eat ALLLLLL the food" and no, salad won't cut it. Peanut Butter M&Ms and make it fast. To deal with the yo yo, think about only weighing yourself once a month? I know…

I do it because I don't eat enough protein. Normally I'll put a scoop in my smoothie at breakfast, and have a second one wheni get back from the gym.

Me and my 4s are on this :). I love these challenges, just don't always knock them all out :(. Thanks!

I support this kind of detox! And I've done it a few times, when I've gone a little overboard with sugar and caffeine and stuff. But pills, cleanses and stuff like that worry me...

I'm a little OCD. So I weighed out my dry rice, weighed my rice pot, and cooked the rice. After the rice was cooked, I weighed the resulting rice, and used the ratio to figure out the calories. For example: (numbers made up for sake of easy math) 100g of dry rice = 400g of cooked rice. 100g of dry rice = 200 calories (yes,…

Your body catching up! Yay! http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/of-whooshes-and-squishy-fat.html "after fat cells had been emptied of stored triglyceride, they would temporarily refill with water (glycerol attracts water, which might be part of the mechanism). So there would be no immediate change in size, body…

I'd go with moderately active, up your calories, and skip the scale for a month while your body stabilizes...take measurements before and after, and photos, and on 2 March see what's up...

In! I'm excited, normally these are a four count for me :)

Edy's fruit bars, 45 calories each, and whole grapefruit. I like peeling and sectioning a bunch at a time, eating tiny nibbles, then use the bowl full of prepared fruit for lunch for the rest of the week. The biggest part of me staying on track, though, is my packed lunch!

bother away, that's what the forums are for :) Just because the scale isn't moving doesn't mean you're not getting good benefits from what you're doing. Is your exercise routine easier? Do your clothes fit better? Do you feel different? And changing the mindset to "This is a special day. I am going to celebrate," instead…

I realized I was a runner in high school, when my crush quit the cross country team, and I didn't! My mom realized I was a runner when I was being a teenager, and sending me out the door for four or five miles brought back her sweet, smiling daughter, not the creature from the basement I regularly realize I'm a runner when…

I'm really enjoying everyone's small wins! I can't think of any of my own, though. Congrats, everyone!

Renttherunway.com and rummage? That way you don't buy something that won't fit when you hit goal!

Uufda. Need a thicker mat! But done.

Was Depoprovera not an option? I had a para guard and loved it, but no experience with a Minera.

I'mma start using this. Thanks!

That sense of control and comfort will most easily come with that 1880... because you're not going to have to obsessively log your gym time, it's already built in. And if you lose, yay! And if you don't...stay on course for 4 weeks or so before tinkering. Remember all the formulas are based on EVERYONE, not you, the…

I like it. Back later!

Me too. Track your weight and your cycle and you can watch them correlate. I just say off the scale for two weeks, it's depressing!

I'm in! Team Madison, if possible.

Ooh, does your DFAC have a comment/suggestion box? Type up what you want, write it out 20 times, and drop them once a day. Go to the DFAC council and complain. Get some others on board. And if you PM me your address, I'll send you a care package :)

Supposedly the Garmin forerunner 410 is good for the... But you have to wear the HRM strap with it, which may get irritating. And they're EXPENSIVE.

I'm waiting for my striiv in the mail...I'd try downloading the app to your phone and playing with it. If I don't like the interface, it's not gonna happen.
