Toss out the scales. You will be happier. Go to the gym or the next door neighbor's house to weight once a week or never. When your clothes are loose and you feel healthy, you have arrived. Just a thought.

That is beautiful and so are you.

Time doing nothing productive. Facial. Pedicure. New hair style. Watch trashy, meaningless TV. Send yourself flowers. Take a day off from work.

I am so impressed with how much weight you and many others posting here have lost despite unsupportive partners. You are courageous and role models and incredible. You all, apparently, didn't need their support after all.

You have done a great job losing weight. Even with a sugar mom, what you are doing has worked overall.

To keep myself from being hungry, I always eat protein, fat and carbs at each meal and snack. So, for example a snack might be: one apple, orange or pear (carb), 8 almonds (fat), 2 oz. Turkey (protein). Whenever I leave one of them out, I feel starving.

In my opinion, you need to eat a little more breakfast and lunch and snack, so you aren't tempted to eat too much of the whatever. I counted your calories in the first half of the day and well it isn't enough food to keep you satisfied. By dinner you are HUNGRY girl. Also, I think scales are poisonous. Dont' stand on them…

Yep, that sounds right.

Rock on Mom!

I think you were honest. Your friend will be hurt and helped by your words.

Everyone is different, of course, but there is research that says working out right after you get up will burn more fat calories than if you do it later in the day where you have to burn through food calories first before you get to burning fat calories. Also, eating bigger and having higher carbs in the morning is better…

If you eat non-processed foods and stay away from the baked goods, you should have enough food to satisfy you. If you aren't satisfied after that then your daily calorie goal is set too low. Exercise is a great supplement to the 1200 calorie diet.

I have always been 50 lbs heavier than my husband. Sometimes he tries to pick me up and I just laugh at him, really? He is quite a bit stronger than I am though. I'll give him that.

Arm toning is one of the easiest strength training things to do in my opinion. It takes a routine where you work one set of muscles with a couple different lifts, then a different set of arm muscles the next day with a couple different lifts. You can use light weights with three sets of many reps or you can systematically…

Congratulations!!!!!! Keep up the easy. That's the road to happiness.

Thanks Keith. There does seem to be a lot of group anxiety about losing weight. When I see measurements of weight gain or loss to the 10th placement, I find myself thinking, "Step slowing away from the scale." That is why I don't have a scale. I absolutely obsess over normal fluctuations and what is the point of that?…

Keep it up. You are on your way to your goal. And it is a lot.
