Hope you're having a fabulous birthday. It's one day out of the whole year, I reckon it's OK to let yourself enjoy it - you can bet back on the wagon tomorrow, it's just a case of making sure you do, and you're clearly taking a sensible approach in your choices so far today. Have a wonderful day :)

I heard a doctor on the radio saying a good way is to lie still and concentrate on keeping your eyes open. I guess it's a bit of reverse psychology but might be worth a try.

I think there's a lot of us to be honest. I've certainly found plenty of support (I live in Middlesex). You can have a look on the 'find members' tab and enter the area you're looking for...

I've got a flex band draped over the arm of the sofa but other than that I'm trying to make sure I go to the gym three times a week - still…

I live on the other side of Middlesex, near Staines. Just wanted to say well done on giving up smoking - looks like you're making good progress.

In Tesco's the other week I found Warburtons sandwich thins - they're basically two small slices of very thin bread - imagine ironing a slice and cuttiing the crusts off! Each thin comes to 100 calories. It would be good if they did a wholemeal variety but they were OK - I bought a pack and froze individual thins so when I…

I'll have to let you know how it goes... Perhaps I'll have to be extremely abstemious with my other meal choices tomorrow and Friday! (The meat is in the oven now for its slow cook, ready to be revived tomorrow evening...)
