The only thing I would suggest would be to eat at least an hour (maybe two hours) before it starts. You can eat whatever you normally eat for breakfast and you should be fine. You want something in your system, but you don't want it to be too much or too close to your starting time.

I'm the same way. I don't eat any vegetables. I make up for it as best I can by eating a lot of fruit and taking vitamins. I don't know if it's sufficient or not, but it seems to work for me.
