  • Greg loves gaming, so the DS Lite and the XBOX were the best gifts I ever gave him. The one I enjoyed giving the most was a mixed cd I made him for our first christmas together. The best gift he has ever given me is dance lessons. He knows that I love to get out and try to new exercise stuff, and so he signed us up for a…
  • That is so awesome. I remember once when I was younger that I told my mentor I wanted to lose weight. I started at the same weight you started, and I told her that once I reached my healthy weight I wanted to be in a size 8. She told me that is wasn't possible. That I wouldn't be a size 8. You just totally inspired me.…

  • I like to find out where in town we are going and then I download a copy of the menu and choose what I want and figure out the calories before I go. And, when I know in time, I like to plan the day before so that I can adjust my calories throughout the day. :) Good luck.
  • I don't mean to get personal, but where you on your period or ovulating? I have found that my weight can fluctuate 5-7 pounds when I'm doing either of these things. You might want to mark your calendar these weeks so that you can see if that is what is making a difference. Also, I agree that you should weigh at the same…
  • That is RIDICULOUS! I cannot believe they would do that! That is totally inappropriate. The machine broke?! GET ANOTHER MACHINE! And for you to have already taken the time off of work and everything. I'm sorry. Pls let us know how it turns out.
  • So, who knew we were the same person?! Not me!! These are EXACTLY the things that my fiance loves and that I try to avoid like the plague. I love those nature valley almond bars. omg. and sugar free fudge . . . don't get me started. :) :) We'll do it though! Luckily, we have a door on the pantry, so I just tell myself it…
  • I was a waitress while I was in school. I totally understand. You must have to tipshare, then? That really really sucks. I am so sorry! :( :(
  • It may not be, but it sure as hell is used in mine. :drinker:
  • I try not to make waves, that is what i do, but I just want to say that I am so glad that all you fantastic posters are back in full form. There were a few days (okay, one day, but it was torture), when I thought I wouldn't get to hear the jokes anymore.
  • I agree! Thanks for saying this. I was nervous to say it, though. hahah. I think this is especially true because cardiovascular exercise in the log takes into account exercise that is in your target heart range. This is how you get the calories "back" into your food allotment for the day. I would be careful of logging…
  • I'd look into the information from 10,000 steps a day programs. Here is an excerpt from a site about the program. It gives you a rough idea of how to calculate calories. You can then log your calories in the fitness tracker and add your own personal heading (daily walking . . . ) For slow walking (<3.5 mph) the body burns…
  • What ages are your kids? I think they can be a workout in themselves! :) Don't underestimate the amount of calories burned playing in the backyard! If they are old enough, it would be fun to "work out" with them. I was at a Zumba class the other day, and I thought how fun it would be to get a dance workout video and do it…
  • mine is sooo lame. hahah. It's my work novell letters. *sigh* I usually go for erinzilla, but didn't here for some reason. But, erin (my name) zilla (because the idea of me as a giant lizard is kind of funny) :)
  • I really like to do 4oz. of thin turkey or chicken lunch meat with a laughing cow light swiss wedge. you roll it up and you have a really great snack, and because there is so much protein, I find it really filling. Thanks Power90! :) Also, on days when I know that I am going to want a lot of quantity because I'm hungrier,…
