Totally feel your pain. I used to not workout at all, eat whatever I want and I was staying pretty much the same weight...still overweight but the same. I started working out 3-4 times a week and eating healthier and less...and it's been about 2 months and I haven't had any real change...so discouraging, some days I do…

Thanks!

Oh that would be awesome! Please let me know =)

What did you do to lose all that weight Congrats too! You've come such a long way!

Thanks everyone for the tips @writergeek313, thanks for the ideas. It's nice to know someone else is just as nervous as me starting up with an even busier schedule soon. Good luck with keeping up with everything once work starts!

well I wasn't too concerned with the actual throwing out of the food, I am just a frugal person and hate wasting money. So if I can avoid wasting money, I try. School definitely makes you sacrifice a lot though, I like what your friend told you. It's sad but true. I work full-time and go to school full time as a double…

Once school starts I will be incredibly busy so I might just have to freeze a lot because going to the store a few times a week might not really fit in. What about salad? I do like salad and would pack for lunch but I have the same fear if I buy all the ingredients to make the salad, some things may go bad before I can eat…

Hi! I am 24 and go to work and school full time. Currently a child/family studies major and thinking counseling psychology for grad school.

When aaaallll the other ellipticals are open, and someone chooses the one right next to me.

Yeaaa pretty sure caffeine is the only option for extremely busy people lol

I am 5'9 as well and ideal weight for our height is about 145. I would like to be 150 one day. I saw someone mention doing strength training, maybe try that to tone up. You may not lose lbs, but you will tone and look more fit.

Ahh, I've always been a morning person so waking up early isn't much of a problem haha but going to the gym before work does give me a boost of energy. As for foods for energy, I am not a great example. I drink coffee and/or an energy drink usually on my way to work. I like redbull sugar free and monster recovery tea+…

I work full time, and a double-major going to school full time so I totally feel ya! I go to the gym before work which means I am there at 4am...its actually pretty nice because no one is really there. Also, I pack my lunches and snacks for work and school that way I have something to eat all day and I know how much I am…

That's constantly been a struggle for me too....be totally motivated then just stop. For me I just think of it as one day at a time, so that I don't get overwhelmed. If I have a bad day I know tomorrow is a new day that could go really well!

Hamburgers are my favorite food of all time...along with tacos.

That's actually one thing I fear the most with losing weight! I love my D's! but...it is hard to find cute and supportive bras up in the bigger sizes. B's and C's have it made. Having smaller boobs won't stop me from losing the weight I wanna lose but it'll be saddening and difficult to accept if they leave.

Very inspirational. Great job!

You are human! Food is delicious and meant to be enjoyed in moderation. If you eat well/exercise most of the time it's perfectly fine to eat something not the healthiest some times. Just realize one bad meal once in awile won't kill you or change you.
-
You can't focus on just one day. We indulge or over do it sometimes because we are human and food is tasty! Just eat healthy and try to stay at your goal the next day. Yesterday I ate in-n-out. But day before and today I ate well...I know I'll still be ok and can stay focused.

Thanks guys, good tips. Definitely need to implement planning before I go over to his house. Then I would avoid the whole "Well what do you wanna eat".."I dunno what about you?" which eventually leads to not so healthy foods.
