I use kettle weights at my gym with my trainer. Having used them I would definitely only use them under supervision as I think there is plenty of scope for injury if they aren't used correctly, and the weights you select are very important, so I agree that you should go to a gym and get professional advice before buying :-D

Thanks :-D I'm going to give that a try - must admit I haven't been drinking as much water as I should (I'm a bit of a tea pot and drink more tea than water!!) and it makes perfect sense that my body would be holding onto it if its not getting enough xx

Thank you I will :smile: I've done an enormous amount of research and I've found 48 possible symptoms of the menopause so far!! You were very lucky to have few symptoms and you have my sympathy with regard to your insomnia. I've found that any good advice hard to find and welcome any help :smile:

Thanks :smile: I joined a gym 3 weeks ago and have managed 4 times each week so far with a mixture of cardio and toning exercises, plus a couple of classes. I'm going to fill in the food diary daily and keep an eye on my calorie intake, so fingers crossed:smile:
