  • I did very well with T25. I lost about 22 lbs and still refer back to it when I want a quick but tough cardio workout. It doesn't move as fast and is nowhere near as intense as Insanity and you may see it as a good prerequisite. As always, keep your nutrition on point and you'll do just fine.
  • Hey everyone. Please feel free to add me!
  • Whoop whoop! Congrats! Happy for you!
  • LMBO. Very funny post. To Steve (is your name Steve?) and everyone, please feel free to add me!
  • I'm on week 3. Did Tabata Power today. Didn't really max out but wasn't as powerful as I'd like to be. I can't wait to get it again on Thursday. I've promised myself to be more sharp, have better range of motion, and give it better effort.
  • T25 is definitely the best choice if you're looking for a "prerequisite" to Insanity so to speak. It starts off slow, has a modifier and is only 25 minutes long. Now, it does begin to get harder as you go along. Matter of fact, I think Total Body Circuit should have been in Beta but Shaun T being Shaun T, he had to put in…
  • I ask everyone this: What is your "Why"? Why do you want to go to the gym after work and why do you want friends to hold you accountable? There's something beneath the surface that's encouraging this desire so whatever that is, hold on to it and let that be your fuel to head to the gym after work. It's a daily decision and…
  • Slidell, by way of New Orleans! Peace and prayers to my peeps in BR and surrounding areas.
  • If they are I'm in trouble because I add bananas to my chocolate shake every morning and am about to add peanut butter for extra flavor! LMBO!!!! Nah, if it fits your deficit as well as your macros you should be cool.
  • First, you gotta stop being so hard on yourself. You're a plus size bride, nothing wrong with that. I'm sorry that you allowed your day to not be the best day of your life because of your size. But at the end of the day we have choices, and we choose how we eat, if we workout or not, or how we cope with our issues. First…
  • I don't know where you're faith is; but being a believer I've come to know that sometimes you have to encourage yourself. The human mind is a powerful tool. We can think ourselves happy and we can think ourselves sad. It's up to us to take our issues by the horns, wrestle it down, stand on its neck and say "Greater is He…
  • Wow. Nice. Congrats on the 35 lbs lost! I'd love to be friends. Just keep doing what you're doing and you will continue to be successful!
  • Oh wow. Nice! Congrats on your journey thus far. Rooting for you! I'll be sure to add you and subscribe to your Youtube channel!
  • Success is the will to keep going at the times you want to give up. When you can't do one more, you do three.
  • Nothing banned. There are foods I don't frequent but not banned, per se. I used to think if I banned them then I'd stay away but that just raised the temptation and increased the guilt when I indulged so it totally defeated my purpose. Now I just have foods I frequent more than others and some I enjoy on occasion. Nothing…
  • It truly depends on your goals as Focus T25 and X3 are not related. Focus T25 is primarily a cardio program that's mostly geared around those who are looking to get off the couch and get started in fitness. Weights aren't introduced in T25 until Beta and even then it's very light and still cardio driven with some…
  • Hi @LoveLyfe7 There's a HUGE accountability group here on the boards: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10372527/focus-t25-by-shaun-t-just-starting-accountability-and-motivation/p1 This thread has been quite steady for a few months now and it appears to be updated everyday. You'll more than likely find a…

  • Hi there. Well, I'm not following paleo but I'd love to root for you on your journey. I will add you. To anyone reading this looking for more friends, please feel free to add me!
  • Pretty much. When I have recipes of my own, I plug them into the recipe builder and it gives me the info on each ingredient. It also allows you to set it by serving.
  • In weight loss, all you need is a deficit so yeah you can. But usually when people want to lose weight, they want to be healthier as well so they tend to apply that deficit to less junk and more fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains and so on. It was a shocker when I realized that losing weight and wanting to be…
  • Hey everyone. Feel free to add me. Best of luck to everyone. I'm sure we can do this!
  • 5'6, 227. I'm about a 16/18 tall depending on the brand. I'd like to get down to a 10/12.
  • Hey dear. Truly compelled by your story. Would love to add you as a friend and anyone else out there please feel free to add me.
  • I've been taking an MSM powder. It tastes like asprin powder so I put it in my morning shake to mask the taste. Its been working great for my knee. I was at a point where I couldn't put any weight on my right knee and it would buckle anytime I tried to use that leg to stand when trying to climb a ladder or the back of a…
  • First, the baby in your profile photo is soooooooooo beautiful. <3 <3 <3 <3 "Bad" days will come. None of us (well maybe a few) are so iron clad that we never have one cheat day. I'm from New Orleans, there's crawfish boils, bbqs, family gatherings, and get togethers just because every weekend. Today is a new day with new…
  • Love having new friends. It's awesome. Please feel free to add me.
