  • I was 32 when this thread started. I'm 40 now and now I can participate! LMBO! Hip Hop Abs Cardio later.
  • Back from my doctor, I'm PiYo Approved!!!! I start tonight!
  • Hi DancingMoosie, Thanks for your reply. When he said I can do stretching, I asked about Yoga (with 3 Week Yoga Retreat in mind) and he said yes to that. But still, I'll show him with PiYo looks like when I go there again next week (I have BOD on my phone) just to be on the safe side. :)
  • I'm building a home gym.... I had an extra room in the house I was doing nothing with so I decided to convert it to a gym. Each month, I'd buy something new for it. The first month, I painted the room and installed floor mats, the second month I bought a flat screen tv and a fitness streaming service, and so on. I had to…
  • The doctor said I can stretch now! #woohoo (Backstory: I was involved in a car accident on the 30th of May and had to cancel all physical activity. Being a huge Shaun T/Joel Freeman fan, you know that was devastating for me :/ ) But now, I've been upgraded to stretching, so I've decided to knock that out with PiYo! Who…
  • Check you You v2. It's by Leandro Carvalho. This program is for beginners who just wanna get up and start moving without all of the demand that other BB workouts require. Many have modifiers, but they too can still be too much for a beginner. So I'd suggest looking at You V2.
  • Hi dear. Yes I'm fine, thanks so much for asking.    Therapy has been a great help and I'm gonna be sure to keep in with my therapist orders. But WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW on your 2BM results!!!! 19 lbs down in 3 weeks. That is incredible!!!! Congrats and I hope the success continues. I'm ordering it…
  • I was super excited to do Liift4 and was gonna be set and ready to buy the bundle to have access to "B4 Liift4"....however I was involved in a car accident last week and am not able to workout for at least 8 weeks per physical therapy. So, I'll just eat healthy and be mindful of my meals in the mean time. Hey, maybe i'll…
  • This very situation is what made me get serious about logging. I decided to log a Wendy's breakfast in MFP one day just for kix and giggles and was floored with the amount of calories, fat, and sodium it had. I've seen lots of posts where people wonder how did someone gain weight if that someone considers their deficit…
  • Hi there. I would love to join. Avid Beachbody fan here. Currently working out with Shaun Week and Joel's Exclusives. I think Joel is coming out with his own program soon. Hope so *fingers crossed*.
  • I got BOD, so I've been playing around with Shaun Week and Joel's Exclusives. I'm truly enjoying Joel's workouts. It doesn't get alot of attention because it's not a full program (only 3 videos), but I absolutely love them. I've added them into Shaun Week so I get a full fledged workout week.
  • I don't see why not. What would be the inconvenience or issue with doing so for life? The only time doing something for life is an issue is if you see it to be an issue. I don't find calorie counting to be a chore, inconvenience, or going out of my way. If I felt that way from the start, I would have never made it apart of…
  • Came a little late to this party. Yes I'm starting over as well with 80 to lose. I was told I was pre-diabetic. Got to get down with the get down.
  • My rule of thumb is "The hustle is in what you do, not where you go." I work out just as hard at home as I would do in the gym. If you're doing your workouts, eating the right amount of calories for your goals, and stay consistent with it, I don't see how you can't have long term results at home.
  • I have bacon and eggs every day. I've successfully lost about 10 lbs in the past 8 weeks and continuing on. Mind your calories and you'll be ok.
  • Hey Everyone! Feel free to add me! SW: 227 CW: 216 GW: 160
  • If you have the disposition to do so or you don't see it as a chore, then sure why not? I don't think you would "have" to or "need" to per se, but if you don't see it as an inconvenience, then you could foresee yourself doing it forever. I plan to do it for a while; while I"m on my deficit, when I maintain, and when I…
  • Girl, get you a body shaper and call it a day. LMBO. Enjoy your wedding, hun.
  • Isn't it awesome? No, really! It's truly awesome, right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! You didn't HAVE TO cut out food groups or go without the things you love just to lose weight. You simply ate less than you burn and voila`! I wish more people would get on with this, it would make the weight loss process alot less stressful! Happy…
  • It makes me more confident, more sure of myself, and further affirms that I can do what I set my mind to and accomplish the goals I set forth. Then from there, I think to myself "Wow, what else can I do?"
  • The treks around Bourbon, Canal St, and the quarters will help you burn off the beignets, etoufee, and oyster po-boys. Go (or should I say come, I'm from here) and have a great time. LMBO
  • I do. I actually weigh my chicken breast and cut it to the size I need. I buy the same chicken breast you buy and sometimes, they can be as large as 12 to 14 .oz alone. I actually used to feel like "Hey, it's grilled chicken breast. I'm good" no matter the size of the breast I was eating. Boy was I wrong! I was working…
  • It was as much of a beast as any other week. On to week 8. I kinda don't want to give it up though. I may do another round!
  • I think our shapes are built around our skeletal structure and fat distribution to the body. I don't think we can ever "change" our structures but we can definitely work hard, enact the right nutrition towards our goals and look our best us. I'm what you call an apple shape woman. I have broad shoulders with a narrow lower…

  • Hey @troytroy11 Thanks so much! Here's to Week 7 and props for doing Friday Fight 2 and Max Out Sweat in the SAME DAY! WOW! LMBO
  • My idea of "eating clean" per se is eating whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins that include lean cuts of chicken breast and so on. But if I dared say that's what clean eating is to a vegan or someone who's gluten free, they'd laugh me out of the room because their idea would be way different from that. So I…
  • Anyone here still doing Max 30. I'm on Week 6 Day 5. I'm in LOOOOOOOOOVE with Max Out Power, second runner up is Max Out Cardio. How is everybody doing and are you enjoying your journey.
  • I have bacon every morning. Low sodium but still. Two strips only costs me 80 calories with 7 grams of fat and I can fit that in anywhere! LMBO I do substitute some things though.... Instead of ground beef I use ground turkey Instead of beef sausage I use chicken Instead of white pasta I use whole wheat Instead of whole…
