More than 1.4lbs a week is really not advisable. Be happy with your loss. Also not sure what you expect a cleanse to do? You won't 'kickstart' your metabolism by juicing or going very low cal, you're more likely to mess it up. Keep at what you're doing, there are no quick fixes.

Once a week I sit down with my ipad and a notepad, planning meals for the week ahead, doing an online shop and logging my meals and snacks in MFP. Takes about an hour all in. I then log in once or twice a day to tweak what I am eating or to check what snacks I am having that day. TBH I log in far too often, but that's…

This, exactly. Fresh bread and French cheese.

A healthy lasagne would be incredible I second whoever said giving the option of smaller portions. Perhaps have your regular dishes but offer a half size version that comes with a large salad? This is the way I diet at home, real food, just smaller portions bulked up with veggies and salad. Definitely give the option of…

I'm sure it's lovely, but I cannot get my head round the idea of sugar-free caramel. It seems wrong.

I lik snacking on deli meats, a nice slice of ham dipped in some light mayo Or a thin slice of cheese on an oatcake

Make them into a salad with avocado, tomato and some leaves. Dressing made with light Mayo, squeeze of ketchup, Tabasco and lime juice.

It's far too late to do anything that will be noticable

I think we do alright here in the UK. If I were richer I could easily live off Marks and Spencers food and be super healthy. They do amazing salads, pre-prepared fruit and snacks, plus some really 'clean' ready meals. Just a shame it would cost too much. But seriously, we have such a huge range of fresh produce and some…

I usually just use balsamic vinegar. I find i don't miss the oil at all.

To be blunt, your diet isn't good. Far too high in sodium and saturated fat. You need to clean up your eating, eat less processed and fast food and up the fresh fruit and veg, whole grains and lean protein. It is hard at first but you will find that you prefer it soon enough.

Veggies in the cabbage family, so broccoli, kale, greens etc. AND virtually calorie free!

I do like scrambled eggs with added veggies (onion, chilli, spinack is a good combo)

A good tip is to roast the cauliflower for a while after steaming. It dries it out and makes the consistency more potato-like. Try it sprinkled with smoked paprika.

Wow, it's like feminism never happened. Grow up and realise that the only generalisation you can make about women, is that we are all different.

http://www.pizzaexpress.com/our-food/nutrition/calorie-tables.aspx I love the Bosco salad. If you get it without dough sticks it's 560cals Or get your fave pizza, but only have half and take the rest home for another meal tomorrow.

Why have an open diary if you don't want advice or opinion?

I made something very similar today. I also added a chopped red pepper, lime zest, shredded iceberg and a bit of grated cheese. Tbsp of half fat sour cream as a dressing and that was my lunch.

Personally I tend to be about 3lb heavier from the day before through to day 2/3. But it will vary for individuals

Beans and pulses are a great base and are dirt cheap. Buy whatever fruit and veg are in season and on special. Frozen fruit and veg is great value and lasts longer. It takes some getting used to, and it IS more expensive than some processed stuff but it IS worth it.

Would that be the opposite of Alan Partridge's 'big plate'?

Do you know what, the first week or two you will be hungry. But if you push on your stomach will get used to the smaller portions and you'll find you're satisfied with less. The first few weeks are killer though :(

I plan my week out on a saturday as that's when we do our weekly shop and I meal plan for the week ahead. It helps us save money and logging my food on here helps me manage my calories. Obviously if things change I adjust before submitting the day, but I find it usually keeps me on the straight and narrow.

I'm in. Friday is bikini day (first day of my holiday) so I'm after anything that might help.

I usually do because somedays every calorie counts. Best to just be completely honest with yourself, at least until you really get an understanding of how your calories add up.

How many calories there are in peas! I LOVE peas :( Also that I'd rather have a tiny bit of something real and high cal, than go for a 'lite' or processed version and eat double.

How about some cauliflower 'rice' or mash? Feels and tastes like carbs, but isn't.
