I used to feel the same way-I hated the fact the number one the scale barely moved! But when I started to measure inches, I noticed major improvement:)

I like a lot of Jillian Michael workouts b/c it is circuit training that doesn't allow you to rest. Many workouts involve cardio and weights-which is something great for me personally. (Cardio alone helped me to lose weight, but did not help in my major goal to drop body fat percentage)

The only type of exercise I can suggest is a walking exercise dvd, you may even be able to add light hand weights. I'd be very careful, and not push it though.

Butter- I'll take a few extra cals for the real thing. Plus, I don't use it too much.

I can't afford a good HRM right now, and that's the only type I want;) I do believe the count is fairly close. Maybe a little higher than what I actually burn, but I stay mindful of calorie count.

I agree-being tough is great sometimes, but a good cry/yell is not all that bad either! :)

When I have really tough times, I actually use exercise to drive me. Exercise is a great stress reliever! (kick boxing especially) Also, try writing everything out, no matter how you feel it would sound to someone;) The best medicine can be time with friends, having dinner, dancing, or drinks-:)

I do like abs a lot on a man--but he doesn't need to be "ripped". Too much muscle is not my thing. More cut, less bulk. I am a petite lady (5'2) after all;)

Lunch portion fajitas, no condiments (except salsa) &no shells....eat beans no rice. Veggies are great! If you want a drink, get a skinny margarita:)

Ha Ha. No, I eat until I'm full. If it's late I eat a small snack-last night I had a handful of almonds, the other night I had a "fun" sized candy.

Milk or cream-no sugar. I also go to Starbucks and get my skinny hot drinks:)

I just make protein shakes w/almond milk--they fill me up, but aren't too high in calories. I also use them as a pre or post workout snack.

Asking the wrong person;) I never go anywhere without mascara, or some form of lip-stuff. I would skip anything else for a gym workout...wash your face after and then apply the moisturizer and goodies:)

Almond milk--I love unsweetened vanilla! It is big on calcium. (I just wish it had more protein) Almond milk is the only non-milk milk I ever liked:)

Splenda I like the taste of--but I know it isn't great for me. Truvia comes from a plant, but has a sugar alcohol in it. I bought it without realizing that, so I'm trying to finish it. I prefer sugar in the raw or Stevia. Agave nectar is okay.

I would talk to your doctor about your concerns. There are many different things you can take that may not cause weight gain, so maybe you can switch? Hormones do a lot to our bodies, so a doctor may have many good recommendations for you:) I had to deal with slight weight gain with Depo-Provera (5-10pnds) within 2 months…

How about a better, tighter& more toned version of my own body? ;) If I had to chose a star body--maybe Jen Aniston or Halle Barre--I hope to look either one of them in my 40s!
