  • Thanks ya'll. I figured the title under Success Stories would be pretty obvious. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
  • Do it! It's the best program I've ever done. I am in such better shape than I was when I started. I just finished my sixth week and I have lost 12.4 pounds and 18 inches. I have a lot of weight to lose and I am still able to do the workouts. It's one of the best purchases I ever made.
  • Go to the Apps tab and click on "tickers". Then click on Update Your Weight Data. You can modify your start, current, and goal weight!
  • I hear where you're coming from. I was almost to my goal after losing 90 pounds two years ago, then I got pregnant. My baby is now a year old and I finally felt like I could focus on myself again. I usually get my exercise in while my girls are taking their naps. It's not always the most convenient time, but I have to fit…
  • For what it's worth, I used to wear my BMF 24/7. It worked for a while, but eventually I hit a point where nothing was working. I increased my exercise, thus increasing my burn, increasing my deficit. Long story short, I stopped wearing it and have been focusing just on counting my calories and I'm losing! Maybe give it a…
  • I'm a SAHM to my two beautiful girls (ages 3 and 2 1/2 months). I lost 95 pounds between January 2010 and September 2011. Then I got pregnant with my second and somehow managed to gain 60 pounds during my pregnancy. So I'm now working my way back down and will hopefully hit my actual goal weight this time! Would love to…
  • I literally said "Wow" when I saw your after pictures! You don't even look like the same person. You look incredible!!! Great job and keep up the good work!
  • Sticking with my menu plan even though I've been in a two month plateau. Also, I did my normal 30 Day Shred workout then started Day 1 of 6 Week 6 Pack. I laid on the floor for about 15 minutes when both were finished and my legs are like Jell-O right now, but it feels great!
  • You know, I've been thinking about this all week. I always wanted to be one of those moms/women who I would see in the grocery store in a tank top and jeans or yoga pants/sweats, with their hair pulled back and maybe some masacara...yet they still managed to look cute. At 270 pounds, all I looked when I tried that was…
  • Wow! You look amazing! Keep it up, you're doing great!
  • Yes and no. In the first two pics with it on, it is. Then the other two later pics, it's a BodyMediaFit. I like the BMF a lot more than the BodyBugg and it seems a bit more accurate. It's the same technology, just tweaked a little. I love them both and I couldn't have gotten as far in my journey without the help of these…
  • I sat here and smiled as I read your post because I can't wait to have that feeling. We're very close in our starting and goal weights so it's inspiring for me to see that you've done it. Great job, can't wait to see your pics!
  • My vote is for Courtney all the way! She and Marci are from my area and I just got to meet them and Arthur this past Tuesday. They are amazing! One thing I like about Courtney is that she's humble, but doesn't get that confused with allowing excuses for herself. She owns up to her mistakes and is happy with any weight…
  • That's amazing! Congratulations to you on your amazing successes...not just with weight loss, but with health overall. You've done amazing, keep up the great work!
  • It's definitely normal. When you put your body through rigorous exercise and radical diet changes, everything in your body shifts and changes and sometimes that includes your cycle. I know I've always had a very regular cycle and since losing weight, I now get AF every 3 to 3 1/2 weeks instead of the full 28 days...and…
  • Great job!
  • As of this picture, I was down 80 pounds in a year. It's very possible and realistic to expect 79 pounds in around a year. Good luck, you can do it!
  • You look amazing! Congratulations, you're doing great!
  • Thanks! And that's my sister in the picture with me. My whole family has jumped on the health bandwagon since I started! My mom has lost 65 pounds, my grandma has lost 45 pounds, and both of my sisters have lost about 10 pounds each. It's so exciting when you start to impact the people around you by making healthier…
  • One thing that I would definitely recommend is to get a BodyBugg or BodyMediaFit. They tell the exact number of calories that you are burning throughout the day so you know exactly what deficit you need. They are 92% accurate. I know, for me, I actually wasn't eating enough calories. Once I got my BodyBugg and upped my…
  • Thanks, everyone! I was getting discouraged with the scale not moving for three weeks so to look at my measurements in this way was a HUGE encouragement to me. And, yes, I wear a BodyBugg. I love it! Anyone who is serious about their weight loss and wanting to eat a well, balanced diet should get one! You all are looking…
  • Thanks, everyone! I do feel amazing and I can't believe that I'm the same person as I was a year ago. Someone asked me about my arms. I've been doing LOTS and LOTS of toning with my arms. I do enough weight so that I struggle a little, but not enough to be really difficult. A major one that has helped is doing my triceps.…
  • Just an update: Had my official weigh in today. I lost 3.5 pounds this week, putting me at a weight of 198.7 with clothes on!!! It's official, ya'll, I'm under 200!
  • I 100% agree with you! My daughter is one and she has had nothing unhealthy for her. Her snacks are plain Cheerios and organic graham crackers. I have members of my family that try to give her french fries from fast food restaurants and ice cream and it just frustrates me to no end! I want her to grow up being healthy and…
  • Throughout high school I would go on random fasts whenever I got fed up with being fat. Normally, they would last a couple weeks of me only drinking water. I'd lose, but of course I gained it all back as soon as I started eating again.
  • Ok, so, obviously I only know what I'm seeing on the blog, but if I were you, I would have a serious talk with your cousin. He is not giving himself enough fuel to keep his body going. There are some days that he only eats a maximum of 200 calories and burns well over 1,000! This will not only hinder his weight MAINTENANCE…
  • Although I still have a long way to go, I try to notice the "little things" that really are "HUGE things". 1.) When I do my hair in the morning while wearing a tank top, my arms don't sag as much as they used to. 2.) I can see my feet when I look down! 3.) My towel wraps all the way around me when I get out of the shower…
  • Hey all! I know this topic has been around for a couple weeks, but this is the first I'm seeing it so I'm jumping in if y'all don't mind. I started losing weight in January with a goal of losing 115.4 pounds. To date I've lost 54 pounds and have 61.4 to go. Only 3.7 pounds til I'm halfway there! Been really struggling with…
