The reason they say diet soda can make you gain weight is that it fuels your cravings for something sweet. Also, there is a lot of sodium in diet beverages, which causes you to retain water. There are no calories in (most) diet soda so you are not gaining weight from the soda itself. Water is definitely the smarter,…

I also tend to agree with the few people who have said they are more harsh in their thinking toward overweight people now. However, that is if I see obese people doing stupid things like ordering HUGE meals and sitting on their butts while shopping at WalMart. If I see overweight people at the gym, I get sad because I…

Wow! You can tell everywhere, but look at the difference in your face! You look great, keep it up!

Oh, I definitely have the 65 to lose! I carry my weight well, but it's all there. Clothes hide a lot too! I am currently at 214, with a goal of 149. Thank you for the wonderful compliment!

Thanks, everyone! It's been a long journey to get here and I can't wait to see what that next 65 pounds down brings! All of you can do this too, just keep focused and it'll happen!

I've definitely noticed a difference in my boobs over the last couple weeks. I just said something to my husband the other day about it. I've been working a lot on my arms and pecs with light weights and I think it's paying off!!! I will never have perky, size 32A boobs, but I'd settle for a 36D, or even better, C.

I definitely agree with the person who said they're noticing their belly more as they lose weight. I still have a lot of weight to lose, but have been doing very well since January. I've lost 44 pounds and have gone from a pants size 24 to a size 16. However, over the past two weeks, I've noticed that I'm seeing my belly…

In short, yes, you need to eat more calories. If you are burning 500 calories a day from organized activity and only consuming 1200, that leaves your body only 700 calories to sustain you for the rest of the day. That does not include your normal calorie burn for every day activity. 700 calories will send your body into…

I agree with everyone else. I did the free trial and I wasn't impressed. There wasn't anything new or exciting on there. I think a lot of people sign up for the "clique" of Jillian Michaels. The only thing I thought was interesting was that they put together a customized meal and workout plan, based on your profile.…

I have the Health-O-Meter digital body fat % scale. It does weight, body fat %, water weight %, bone mass and BMI. It holds up to six profiles. I got it at WalMart for about $45. I love it and it's very accurate. The scale I had before would weigh a pound different within a 30 second time span. This one is accurate and I…

For me, I'm sort of following an "every 10 pounds" rewards system...I say sort of because I've rewarded myself a few times in between there. 10 pounds-New jeans (smaller jeans that fit!) 15 pounds-New wedding rings!!! 20 pounds-New jeans and a few new shirts 30 pounds-New jeans, WII and WII fit 35 pounds-Manicure and hair…
