I know you probably don't want to hear this, but I think (I THINK - don't kill me other posters just because I might be wrong) you may find with the amount you have lost and the amount of belly overhang you have, the only way you'll get rid of that is with surgery. As I said, I THINK! You look fanfookingtastic by the way!…

I think people on here have just not read my initial post correctly or got what I've said following: I have dieted and exercised and lost 30lbs. No one has given me any advice and logic, they are just giving opinions and not backing it up with science fact. Considering my initial question was FOR THE FACTS I find it…

I think the best thing to do would be to post before and after pics once this has been done. Then all of you can decide for yourselves if I wasted my money. If it doesn't work, of course I have wasted my money, just like I tried to dye my hair with red, but because my hair is so dark, it never shows, so that IS a waste of…
Have you ever taken a biology class?
I did in high school, about 16 years ago. Why? Is this something we should have learned then (and remember off the top of our heads at will)?

Can I just jump in and explain something? To the poster who said they lose 2 inches after a hours running...good for you! You are very lucky. Most average people won't. Although I reckon it's all water loss and the second you drink any liquid, the inches come back on. If not, again, you are very lucky! To the poster who…

Nevermind, did find something in the end!

What's the wrong things? And you're right, that article told me exactly what I wanted to know...NOT! Lol.

HAHA! Yes, I get what you mean...or prune juice for less calories.

^^^ How can you improve on what you've already got if that's your tummy in the pic!!!!? Be happy with what you have got. Well done!

Well, I think I will stop logging the tea and coffee. I only have a splash of skimmed milk in each and 0 cal sweetners.

Always weight yourself on the same scales, at the same time of the day. I also make sure I always put my scales in the same place on the floor of my bathroom (just a little OCD there). I have also found that Wednesday is my 'light' day.

Sounds like you need be a biologist and know everything about vitamins/minerals, hormones, and your own body inside and out (and what happens to it during exercise and rest) to effectively lose weight and keep it off. Personally, if I only eat 1100 calories a day because I've eaten and am satisfied and have had a range of…

I am 32 (I think...), not exactly an old age pensioner, but because I work with lots of younger than me people - only 3 other people in my department are older than me (both my superior advisor and team leader, and I think even my manager!, are younger than me) - I feel very old and feel like I can't go out anymore and…

I'm sure this has been said already, but I haven't read all the responses, but I wanted to get my two-cents in too: I think it's ridiculous how people can say that losing a lot of weight in a short time is dangerous. It's NOT dangerous. Why would it be? The only problem with losing the weight quickly means three things: 1.…

Generally if things have bones in them, it will have an option somewhere weighed with bone meat only, or no bone. Things like Drumsticks or chops with bone in them, I weigh with bone, then take the weight of the bone out after I've eaten.

And your typing/spelling/grammer is brilliant compared to some people these days who can't tell the difference between too, to, two; you're, your etc. That really winds me up. And txt tlk when you don't need to! Your message wasn't long enough in the first place to ever run out of characters, stop using txt tlk!!!! Grr! All…

Rather than assume they are jealous, perhaps you should ask them why they think that. If they say you just look too thin, assure them that you are a healthy weight and build for someone your age and height. They may genuinely be concerned for your health rather than just be envious. Having said that, how good a…

This...well, the anime bit, not the rest. Love me some romantic high school comedy romance anime! Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Ouran High School Host Club. Sooo funny! I also like Dune and Dark Angel!

Ditto! Nothing wrong with a relaxing Saturday morning...what? It's what? Afternoon? Oh, ok... *gets up and goes to have a shower*

SPIKE DAY! That's another name for it. You shouldn't really do it once a week because then your body will get used to THAT too. Only do it once in a blue moon. The idea is to 'maintain' or even, if you're brave enough, put on a little weight to kick start your metabolism again. I had 11 days of off and on, exercise, no…

No psych background, but can definitely tell that there are some people who just cannot take a compliment and always see it as back handed, like the person delivering the comment is being sarcastic or challenging you in some way. My advice is to ignore it. And if you do end up bingeing...just get back in the saddle the…

Can't find this for my android phone. Keeps coming up with other apps for stress relief etc.

The fact is A makes more than B and knew that before they got married. Who pays what bills would have been discussed before marriage or shortly after and agreed. If A earns more, A should be able to handle most of the bills and NOT rub it in B's face. The fact that B can contribute is better than most households. TBH,…

If you have been strictly sticking to your diet and exercise goal, try shaking your body up a bit and have a couple of days off - otherwise known as a spike day (but don't eat so much that you put on more than 1lb). It should help your body realise you're not 'starving' and it will 'lower it's defences'...as it were. When…

I am assuming your extentions are real human hair? If so, they should respond the same way normal hair would do with bleach/dye. But my real advice to you would be to actually ask a hairdresser. If you have a Sally's near you, go in and ask them, defo!
