It gets much harder to lose weight the less you have to lose. Try upping your calories for a few weeks to about 1300 - 1400 and see if that kickstarts the loss again. Otherwise increase cals AND do more exercise. But the important thing is the way you look, not what the scales say. You might not be losing weight, but is…

Anyone?

@EdTheGinge: Probably the first half before collapsing! Lol. No, it's just a 13.1 mile run, but I'm assuming you knew that.

No! Just...no! In two weeks? Please. If that is the case, please tell all the weighlifters out there who are trying to gain muscle in that short a time how this was acomplished, because they will be very interested. Are you being completely honest with what you are eating? Be truthful. If you are being truthful, defo get…

I do usually log all the time, but this was the long Easter Weekend, and we were away, and so I chose not to log anything. As I said in my post, I know all the responses, so thank you all for reiterating what I already know (although I didn't know potassium balances sodium...interesting!). I will getting back to normal…

Weigh in tomorrow!

Firstly, well done for your loss so far! And kudos to your dedication to exercise. Secondly, I agree with the others, you are not eating enough, PLUS you are loading your body with sodium and that means water retention. I'll bet if you ate well for 1 week doing what you're doing now exercise wise and eating back your…

I can't comment on 30ds from experience because I did two days and then gave up, but I understand that the best way to do the shred if it's the first time you're doing it is: Day 1 Rest Day 2, day 3, day 4 Rest Day 5, 6, 7 Rest Day 8-10 Rest Level 2 (I don't know how one would tackle level two) If you are reasonably fit…

I agree with everyone above. 30DS is very hard if you haven't done it before and so she should rest between workouts and do something else the days she's not doing it. Tell her to take it easy and get her shins looked at in the mean time. And while her shins are sore from impact exercise, suggest she go swimming, or work…

Sorry, it's goals, then change goals, THEN custom goals etc.
-
Go to the 'goals' tab and 'custom' your goals. You can then change the ratio of fat carbs and protein (and the rest if you wish too). Hope this helps.
-
Food, yes. Exercise, no, but since I tend to do exercise in the morning anyway, it works out well anyway.
-
If you're doing exercise, start doing weights. This will help you to start getting into shape, literally. Just dieting alone won't really alter your body shape until you've lost quite a bit, especially on us short gals! I lost 33lbs before looking in the morror and saying to myself that I can see a difference, but because…

I want loads of sparkle! This is the best one I've found. If it were up to me I'd have a full encrusted bodice/corset, but this one...took my breath away when I saw the picture.

Lol! Well, if The Doctor says they're ok...

I am 5ft2" and currently at 148. My first goal is 130, then I want to get down to about 126, but I will have to see how I look when I get there and just aim for toned. Any of you girlies want to add me, because most of you are already at MY target weight and I could use some encouragement in the gym/weightlifting/strength…

Personally, even when I was younger and much thinner, my thighs rubbed together. I HATED it! I am hoping that I will get to the point, even slightly, where they don't rub together anymore. THIGH GAPS ARE OK.

So, to those who are doing the diet, how many calories do you eat on the 5 normal days? My problem with my weight gain is that I was really overeating, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't lose weight at all if I carried on the way I had...

Hubba hubba! Thanks for that shot, Zachatta! :blushing:

I know you're out there; I can hear you fasting!

This.

I am 5ft 2 and my first goal is 130lbs, so at 5ft 4 and already 123, you are already in your healthy weight range and this makes it much harder to lose the weight. 0.2lb loss per week is very reasonable.
-
As others have said, it entirely depends on how much you have to lose. If you have a lot to lose to begin with, it will take time for people to start noticing physical changes. Stay the course! Conversely, people don't seem to notice the loss when you are starting to reach the END of your weight loss journey: I have lost…

@Justjamie0418 I just have to say well done for your amazing weight loss. Your profile picture shows that of a beautiful and healthy young woman.

Hi! Sorry to see that you're struggling. And I don't know what eating disorder you have suffered from before so can't give you any specific advice, but the only thing I can say (because I have this trouble too) is that if you're trying to keep everything green and not eating enough, then you're not eating the right type of…

Funny, I have just about an hour ago posted something similar! But my question was to try find out the cause of my binge eating. Someone sent me this link, although it's for the UK. Not sure where you are in the world, but have a read anyway. Might be relevent to you.…
-
I had no idea binge eating was a mental issue! I did often eat in private and I always feel guilty afterwards! Thankfully, I don't purge (although I have often felt so full I have felt like a would throw up). I HAVE suffered from depression, for a very long time, and I was on anti-depressants for years but they never…

Anyone else?

The only problem is I need something that gives you calories burned too and the lesser expensive polar ones don't seem to offer that.

You look amazing! Wish I looked like you! How tall are you, just out of interest? If you want to look good in a bikini (not that you don't in THAT one!), wear one that doesn't sit so low. That will disguise your teeny tiny tummy. Having read what others are saying, looks like you're on the right track and as they say, give…
