How old do you feel?

Some people feel younger than their actual age, and it's not necessarily about maturity.
I don't feel like I'm 33. I feel much older and I don't know why. Maybe it's because I don't go out partying, and I've started realising that I dress like my mother. Lol! I would never think of buying a dress like some of the other girls at my work wear because I feel like I'm too old to wear it.
Having said that, I love playing video games, so there is still a young mind in me!
I guess I feel like I'm in my 40's, but when I'm actually in my 40's, I'll probably realise I wasn't anywhere near that!

I'll be 47 this year but still feel like I'm in my early twenties0

I'm turning 29 in a few months and in some ways I feel much younger - I think this is because I went through a very abrupt transition from childhood to adulthood when I was thrown out at the age of 17 and moved in with my boyfriend (now husband). I still think of myself being the young 17 years old...
But I feel a lot older than other people my age too - I guess because of my maturity levels. I was married and had my daughter when I was 21 and settled. I've never been into going out partying/clubbing etc. I think age/life is starting to catch up with me more now too - I've noticed I cannot cope as well on only a few hours sleep (which I'm renowned for since I work full time and study and have a child lol) plus the bags under my eyes are more visible now (as are the crowsfeet!).
I guess 30 seemed a long way off when I first left home and now it's here much quicker than imagined!

I feel super young when I'm working in schools because I am (I'm 22) and the kids always ask me if I'm 16. haha but I feel really old on weekends when I sit at home with my bf and don't go out since I'm broke and have few friends.0

In my 40's or 50's (I'm actually almost 30).....the majority of my friends, and my husband is considerably older than I am.0

I am almost 55 and can do more than I have since high school. I feel 20-something. Gearing up for my first 1/2 marathon!0
-
Right now? Probably around 30. After I go running? Mid-80's. Geez. smh0
-
I'm 38, used to feel about 28 until I had major medical problems, so now I feel a lot older.0

I am -- and always will be -- 16.
IN MY HEAD!0 -
Soon to be 36 and I think I feel about 26. Everyone tells me I look about that age, so I'll take it!!!0

Early 40s and feel like my late 20s. When I was in my early 20s I thought people in their 40s were old. Now that I'm in my 40s I realize it isn't old.0

I'm 25. I feel half 17 and half 40. Half 17 because sometimes I'm like, whaaat? I'm not a teenager? That's crazy. And half 40 because sometimes I feel very mature and responsible and like it's already too late for me to do/have some things in my life. Both of which are silly.0

i am 41, people say i look in my 30s and i act in my 30s,,, ha ha,0

I'm 35 but feel like I'm in my 20s still, although late 20s rather than 21! I've got 2 young kids so I get to go to soft play, the park etc and run about like I'm young again! I also work as a teacher so spend most of my working life with teenagers which I think keeps me young.0

I feel roughly 30-35 mentally. Grew up very fast in many ways.0
-
I'm 30, and I feel 50.0
-
Physically, I guess I feel about as old as I am - 34.
Mentally, people have been saying I'm middle-aged since I was about 19 :laugh:0 -
I'm 24 and in some ways I feel 16 (yay new Pokemon game in October) and in other ways I feel 35 (buying a home and worrying about curb appeal and crime rates).0
-
I am also 33 and I feel right about my age. I still like to go out have fun (drink etc) but I do not party as if I were 22. I have young children so my nights end early lol because they wake up early no matter what time I go to bed the night before.0

in fact I am in way better shape now and feel way more healthy ...at 25 I probably felt like I was 400 -
Younger than my 33 years! Although a drink up takes considerably longer to get over and I NEVER leave the house for a night out without a coat like I used to :laugh:0

I'm 31 but I feel 28, and i'm currently working on looking 280

I'm 50 and I feel like 25.
I'm 57 and I feel about this same way :drinker:0 -
I started saying I feel like I'm 80 when I was in my 20's. Now I'm 35 and feel 100...I hurt everywhere and always have. I'm tired and have no zest for life. It just keeps going downhill. Now I'm starting to look old too...wrinkles and sags in places I don't like.0

I'm 41, almost 42, I feel younger. Not a lot younger, but mid 30's I guess. Most people don't think I'm in my 40s, or at least that is what they tell me0

I'm 38...About 5 months ago or so I felt like I was an unhealthy 60 on the verge of an early death. I was about 25 Lbs heavier than I am today...hurt everywhere (back, knees, ankles, etc)...poor nutrition...always tired and sluggish...could no longer do the things I used to enjoy like hiking in the mountains or riding my Mt Bike...smoked too much...drank too much...ate too much...never exercised. A good afternoon was spent napping for a couple hours on the couch watching golf. Hell, picking up my two year old off the floor was a struggle.
Now...I feel like a moderately healthy 28 year old, well on his way to being a healthy 25 year old. Now I get 30 minutes of aerobic activity 3x weekly...30 minutes of recovery cardio 3 x weekly...3x weekly of heavy lifting. I'm eating much more nutritiously and my calories are in check with 15ish more pounds to go for my goal of 40 Lbs down. I can pick up my toddler no problem...in fact, I can lift a lot heavier than that these days. Aches and pains have disappeared...blood work has gone from OMG to OMG...this is phenomenal. A good weekend afternoon now is spent hiking in the mountains, riding my bike, taking the boys out to the zoo or fishing or whatever. It's really a completely different me now and I'm loving it.0 -
Well, I'm 46, and physically, I feel in my early to mid-30's. I can bench 275 and I can bike for hours. On the other hand, even though my running is coming along in terms of running 3-6 miles at any time, it's hard for me to get multiple miles much under 9 minutes.
Mentally it is like my MFP friend GuitarJerry said, it's not one or the other, kind of depending on what you're talking about. I was never into drugs, but in my 20's I bartended and drank a lot, since it was free and I fooled around a lot, since meeting women as a bartender was easy. Now, I rarely drink and keep my fooling around to my wife. We own a home and certain responsibilities at work make me feel mature.
On the other hand, I love my dogs and riding my bike just as much as when I was a kid. I am a teacher and work with 12-14 year-olds and it's hard to be too mature when that's your job. Plus, though married, my wife just turned 30 this last week. So, I guess I'll split the difference and say I mentally feel about mid-30's as well.0
