Come on girl, keep your head high. You have reason enough in that you are a beautiful person on your own, you don't have to impress anyone, do it for yourself. You need to have that confidence back. You have two other reasons as well, since you mentioned that you have two kids. Don't do it to impress anyone, or keep anyone…

I find that it really helps me to eat snacks, not only lunch and dinner. If I eat lunch (11:00) every day, then I have to have something in between because when I get off work I am starving if I don't eat. So even an apple, some kind of fruit, a yogurt etc can help bridge the gap. As far as dinner ideas, I need those too…

I have been reading up on vitamins in the Women First Magazine, and started today taking L-Carnitine. I do need a Women's One A Day, and I am reading up on Coconut Oil. Never have taken vitamins or any suppliments before, but I feel like I need them now as well.

It shouldnt take long for those scales to drop, any change is good and sometimes it is not reflected on the scales. Probably the next time you weigh it will show up. Good luck, and what ever you do, keep it up.

That is a very good question, because I feel most times like I just need a little something before I go to bed, maybe it is a lifetime of eating before bed, I don't know, but I do try to keep it small.

I too have lost 5 lbs and have been here about 2 weeks, and was just a little dissapointed at only 5 pounds, so thank you for reminding me how really heavy 5 pounds can be. Good Job!

That was very good. I haven't set a goal yet, but I know that I am going to NYC in October and would like to see some good results before then of course, but I am not only losing for the October trip, I want to be able to lose it all, and get down like I should be. Thank you for posting this. It was very encouraging.

Don't be discouraged, you are doing great. Remember that some brands of clothing will run small or large, so the one that you tried on and it didn't fit had to run small. Keep up the good work.
